honestly that sounds more like a typo than an indication of any issues. Meant to say either "as well as my wife" or "as well as my partner" and ended up with both. Re: RSL Playoff Run

120 minutes of 0-0 draw must have been riveting. I am not really a soccer guy, but don't hate it. Mostly apathetic. But the scoreless draw is the worst thing in sports. I think they need to loosen up some rules (offsides) to create more exciting offense. My take is pretty much summed up by this cla...

Jake doughty should be on this list if for no other reason than for what he did to the CSU kicker.
Also, First Team All-MWC, Semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, etc etc... but yes, mostly because of the hit on that kicker

I don't care about MLS at all, but I find this sports story very inspiring and quite a lot of fun. That said, the hunker down defense strategy is the absolute worst for spectators. Oh it's for sure the worst. I don't think that was the actual strategy but it's kinda what they were forced into doing...

I know there are some weirdos on this board who don't like soccer, but you have to acknowledge how bonkers it is that Real Salt Lake has made it to the Western Conference Final considering all the turmoil the club has been through. Re: Inevitable P5 Split?

The issue is the playoff. There isn't one. It's an invitational based on popularity. Just look at Cincy this year. Another good example is the PAC-12. Is the PAC-12 really significantly better than the MW this year? I would argue that they are not. Oregon almost lost to Fresno at home. Utah is the ...

If this is the play, then I think things like expanding the Mav would be a mistake. Why would we invest dollars that will never see a return. Other than the loyal fans now, the G5 level will stop growing tremendously as they stop trying to keep up. Which ultimately is a good thing, but I think you'...

I've said this multiple times over the years: If your main color is blue and you decide to use black uniforms, you absolutely cannot incorporate any blue into the uniforms. We're already the top G5 conference now, I see no reason to add additional schools from inferior conferences just for the sake of expanding. Who could we even realistically invite that would truly make us better? Adding UTEP or NMSU doesn't do that.
