Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

If we are going to judge how good these coach's are based on what scheme they run , that will be a error, because last season we had a huge lack of strength on the D. front line people, and one good linebacker. We were not tough enough. Recruiting and player development is 90% of the job. Scheme's,...

Appears a page has been turned and we are now pursuing the success story similar to the first edition of Gary Andersen. This time is different as the cupboard is much more promising than the first time G A arrived in Logan.

Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

Not sure about the Co-DC thing, but, whatever . Look, it doesn't take a genius to know that every organization thrives when it has two leaders. Go ahead, name a country that doesn't have two presidents. A boat that sets sail without two captains. Where would Catholicism be without the popes? Intere...

Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

Collins is important to keep on staff for recruiting alone. This promotion will hopefully keep him here. Collins has shown his metal during the season. Making the change must have been tough for Gary, not unexpected, yet personally tough for Gary after bringing Ena from Utah. The tough part of this...

This may be a diamond in the rough get considering we need some real help at R B. I'm not downplaying DII ball a bit, as a good number of DII players seem to be filling the NFL Rosters. I think this schedule where we play one at home, one on the road, one at home, etc. makes it hard to get right. The team is traveling between every game instead of getting to stay a week or two at home to practice and get right. That's why I posted months ago that adding a 12th team to make schedul...

UConn has been pretty much one of the worst FBS teams the last few years. Not impressed. However that does mean it is winnable. “Not impressed.” Huh? This is a great non conference home & home. It’s a great scheduling job done by the AD. I mean I am glad we got an American team, but they are at the...

The article reads like this was a done deal during the season. Appears both Leach and MSU were discrete in holding the fresh coaching change closely so it would impact neither the WSU players nor school.

Yes, IIRC Aranda came from Hawaii and a number of us were wondering just what that hire was all about and where it would lead our gridiron fortunes. I do wish our football program well in the recruiting and off season and trust we will enjoy some additional Gary Andersen JFW kind of AGGIE Football.
