All is not lost with zone pass defense, especially if the "D" Coordinator has the insight to stagger the depth of the drops the defensive back makes.

And those injuries can last a long time, a season, years or even decades. It can come down to range of motion capability which is tough for a wide out. Personally guarantee the tenacity of that injury.

It’s not the competitive disadvantage of playing them now, they clearly are better in every way. Playing NFL size, speed, and aggression leads to worn down bodies and more injuries. As the season wears on and our "O" line gets better then Jordan may well elevate his NFL potential. We also don't know what needs will exist in the NFL toward the end of the season. J L has some physical intangibles, i e, assets, that are very attractive to the NFL.

This year's LSU team is without question one of the top 10 teams USU has EVER faced, and probably in the top 5. I will be happy if we aren't humiliated, and come away without any season/career ending injuries. Agreed LK.... I'm praying for no season ending/career ending or life altering injuries.

I would say we all hope Burt turns out. Can't think of a reason why anyone would wish less for the young man. He has good size and speed plus four (4) years of collegiate football experience and valuable maturity at this juncture.
