I agree their blue field is ridiculous and looks terrible. However, it has become such a huge part of their identity they will never dump it. It’s one of the major things they are known for. Kinda like their trucker U designation. They complement each other, don't ya think. I'd suggest their well e...

$60 million and they still won't dump the stupid turf . Their line of sight doesn't appear to be much improved. The advantage for Utah State is we have, from the beginning, a fairly decent layout to begin with, so seat expansion isn't a brutal financial reconstruction project. Someone here posted t...

And as I thought about it some more, another strong possibility is that an offer was made to one candidate but they made a counteroffer that USU doesn't want to accept and/or USU has reason to believe that he is just trying to get a raise from his current employer and isn't a serious candidate. I g...

The era of growth by addition is almost over. It probably ends when Florida State, and either Notre Dame or Clemson joins the SEC to round out a twenty team conference. After that, the best way to increase per member revenue is growth by subtraction, throwing the low performers overboard. As the ar...

If you want to make a Montana St. comparison, Danny was an exceptional player for them and brought them two conference titles in the Big Sky as a coach. He clearly did more for that program than it did for him. Here, Danny has become a household name in 10 months at USU and will likely be leaving b...

Utah State: Last home game, senior night, outright MW champion at stake. But have a lock in the big dance. New Mexico: Has been either on the bubble or last four in. One thing that Washington should look at as a red flag is that if Danny is willing to mentally check out of USU and negotiate with Washington in season with alot of ball left to play, he would be just as willing to do the SAME THING to them when a job more prestigious than them, like Kansas, Kentuc...

Generally, the L V odds makers favor CSU by 4.5 to 6.5 over our AGGIES. I believe the game can be very tight, and honestly what AGGIE player(s) step up for this one should swing the game for Utah State. . 78-75 for the Rams, but I so want to be wrong.

His basketball IQ is higher than anyone I’ve ever seen play in an Aggie uniform. Too bad you didn’t see Wayne Estes . I don’t care for the comparison. He played when there was no three point line, no shot clock, and teams usually didn’t score over 50 points per game. Basketball is a lot harder now ...

Yes, the 2 hour drive from Logan to the SLC/Sandy area isn't that long, yet Sardine Canyon at night or during a snowstorm requires some diligence. I routinely let the car ahead of me have the first shot for a rack of antlers. I seem to recall signing day ceremonies along the Wasatch, and it would ge...

Another Nugget, I don’t have the contract to me, but it appears to me to make it so the vote to dissolve and then 9 go over to the PAC 12, is not an option anymore. Nick Saban (I think it was him) said something that was interesting to me after he the lost the playoff game to Michigan. In college football the hurry-up, no-huddle offense is the trend. Or three . . . Is it possible his departure is addition by subtraction? 6'6" and 340 lbs is impressive, but he rarely showed game day performance for his size. Saves USU some hefty out of state tuition, plus after 5 years of playing football, if that's his peak, yes, let him find a better fit.

The reality that was we needed a home game for 2024 and our two schools came to an agreement. Essential game trumps an open home game slot in 2024.
