Re: Time to scrap the tempo offense

If you can't run the ball effectively it really doesn't matter what the tempo is. If you look back at the games our offense struggled this year and last it's because we couldn't run the ball. Would you say that way ran the b-ball effectively against CSU? Yes. If we don’t turn it over 4 times we pro...

Re: Attendance?

I don’t know if Boise St will be a sellout since it’s Thanksgiving weekend. The athletic department should look ahead for that one and see if they can sell tickets in the student section Except it’s not thanksgiving weekend. Oh wow you're right. I just assumed the Thursday before Nov. 30 wouldn't b...

Re: Breakdown of Love's Game

I'm not doubting that he needs to improve pre-snap alignment looks and all of that, but I think 2 of his 3 interceptions could have easily been avoided if 1) he doesn't throw it off his back foot, and 2) he drops it down to G Bright who was wide open. The interception on our own goal line was pre-sn...

I have my doubts about Duncan transferring to another MW school. Does Boise block scholarships to other MW schools? Also, wasn’t it between us and BYU for Latu? Or am I thinking of another player from Hawaii?

Shaq’s Scrimmage yesterday may have been what Gary needed to see, who knows. Hopefully competition for the spot has given a sense of urgency to Shaq and Gunther to truly elevate their play like Gary and Ena know they can.

Just out of curiosity, how interested was Washington, Wazzu, and Boise St? It seems like Boise always finds a Washington qb and Wazzu under Leach has a good rapport with qb's.

I guess we'll have to play the Jazz to see who the best team is... but in all seriousness this is one of the reasons I love Coach Smith. He values rebounding and rim protection like no other.

We're 8 days in and the list is already becoming a joke to me. There's no way in hell we should have 5 guys listed already to BYU-P's 2. Just prepare for Love and Woodward to get shafted out of the top 5. The SLC Media is so laughable from their ignorance.

I think Logan can be a culture shock for many reasons. Race can be one of them but there are a lot of things for students in general to get used to. My wife came up to USU from Southern California and had a culture shock because of the lack of resources such as not having a Target, Chipotle, plus th...

I think it's a win-win for both schools. Washington gets a footprint in Utah and we get more exposure as well. Gary has always seen Cache Valley as a special place and the more opportunities to get kids on campus the better chance he feels he can land the recruit. Just imagine high school coaches lo...

Larry K would block his transfer here like he did with Chapman and we did with Collette. I doubt this kid would want to pay his own way for a year. I think it's safe to assume that if a player doesn't get playing time right away then he's going to transfer. Even if the team does go to the NCAA Tournament. It's a bummer since I thought he has potential.

Quite should win defensive player of the year too. It should be an all around sweep for the Aggies but I won't be shocked if it's not. David Woodward and Jordan Love were 2nd team MW which tells you how much they pay attention to the Aggies.

Preseason hype combined with their tournament success last year. I think we're almost a lock but let's just A) win the tournament or B) hope mid major 1 bid leagues are won by the favorite (Gonzaga, Buffalo, etc.)

Is it okay to agree with both sides? Shooters do need to keep shooting but he needs to find ways to score other than jack up nine 3’s a game. Pump fake and get fouled, absorb contact at the rim, pull up from mid-range. Brock is capable of averaging 15 ppg if he does those things. I don’t think Blue ...
