Re: Help thou my unbelief
I have no real concrete reason for being optimistic but I just have a good feeling about this year. Seems we tend to do better when expectations are lower. We’ve got a TON of unproven guys but that means that there are a lot of guys hungry for playing time. I just feel like there’s a good vibe on th...

Re: Ryan Odom < Danny Sprinkle
We all better start upping our donations so we can keep Danny around as long as possible. He definitely seems like a coach on the rise who will have some really big teams looking at him in a couple years.

Re: 2024 QB
What the Sue'Sue?!! I've never seen that name before today, and now twice in this context? Pretty sure their cousins and also nephews of one of my high school football coaches (Carson for sure is) Sounds like quite a litigious family. Quick, get 'em on retainer! It’s pronounced more like sue-e, sue...

Re: 2024 QB
I’m starting to get nervous about this position. We usually have a QB commit by this point and we’ve been offering a lot of ‘24 QBs it seems. Carson Su’eSu’e (both our most recent offer, as well as one of our first) is a mission kid I’m pretty sure so even if we can get him it doesn’t really fill t...

When you guys are booking, do you just book through Saturday and plan on staying around no matter the results? Or book night by night depending on if we win

Re: Sportico comes out with a 2021-2022 financials for Mountain West teams
How many sports does each university sponsor? From what I remember we have the fewest in the conference or close to it. So our per-sport budgets might not be as low. Especially football and men’s basketball. Not saying we don’t need to improve but just saying that’s probably part of why we can “punc...

If we’re going to add a new sport I’d rather add hockey or men’s soccer before baseball.

Re: Stadium update/renovation
I know this will never happen, but I want to see the upper East side get a full remodel so that the seats are on the same continuous plane as the lower east side seats. Then dig out the hill beneath it and put small concessions, stores, and bathrooms underneath the upper East stands. I suppose you ...

Marquis Montgomery
I met another Snow WR this week who said he is really good friends with Marquis. He said the biggest thing in his recruitment is that his mom just moved to Utah and really wants him to stay in Utah so she can watch him play. Sounded like USU has a really good shot to land him.

Re: One Thing we Forget as Fans
UNLV reminds me a lot of us in 2011. They’ve brought in some good talent and are competing in all their games. They just haven’t figured out how to win. Once they flip that switch they could become a decent program.

JH says he want to interview 6-8 candidates. There in Koncal, Conroy, mystery candidate. I Think Tim Miles, Chris Burgess, and Stan Johnson get interviews as well. Maybe 1 or 2 more, maybe Ragland gets an interview. I’m hearing the “mystery candidate” is Ryan Odom from UMBC. Sent from my iPad using...

Thanks for the link. He mentioned he basically had a deal done with another team before Milwaukee stepped in and made another offer. I think they are typically pretty tight lipped about these things but out of curiosity does anyone know who the original team may have been? 1 and 1 at the minimum Se...

April 23 cannot get here soon enough. Are there any more showcases for him between now and then or is the combine the last? Wondering if he has other opportunities to raise or lower his stock at this point. I think he done about as well as he could have possibly done to this point. Excited to cheer...

Bairstow is a true freshman, I wouldn’t expect him to perform at the same level as guys who have been in the program for 3-4 years especially when those guys were so much better last year. The regression of three particular role players from last year to this year has been as big of a reason (or eve...
