smiles

I don't think that i've seen these guys have this much fun. there were smiles all around. Even when kuba gets in the smile he had running back down the court after the alley oop was a thing of beauty!! always easier to smile when your winning!

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

whatever happens with the wins, they are very fun to watch!! generally when you kick and shoot threes, it's generally one player dominating the ball and then dishing at the end, but these jazz have soo many people handle the ball. that makes this fun to watch!!

that was a fun night, other than USU losing. you had the usu vs boise game on. the jazz vs clippers. if you are into tennis you had the semi finals for the australian open for womens last night. it was fun to be a couch potato. i'm sure there were other things to watch, i guess the gw vs the heat. f...

how does he get that many minutes being that this team isn't affiliated with the Bucks? I was thinking he would hardly see the floor, but i'm wrong, getting 31 min and starting that's cool.

17 point loss in the first game, and they were never in the game, i don't think in 7 games BYU will overcome how bad they looked the first time!!

i'm not sure how big of a liability he is or he is not, but when queta is ok the other team notches up the intensity knowing that they can go to the middle anytime they want. Dorius does do a good job, but the mentality of the other team changes.

zone

we still haven't figured out how to play against a zone. if i were an opposing team i would look at this game and the washington game from a couple of years ago and follow that. I know we don't play against it very often and we don't play it, so i'm sure we don't practice against it, so not many set...

i think our guards are getting more rebounds this year that Bean would have been getting last year. i'm not sure on the numbers but that's what it's looking like. and Queta is getting everything close to the basket. I also think Bean is guarding guys that are playing more away from the basket than b...

sometimes starting is just a head game. some kids need to start to be in the game and others can come off the bench and be in the game instantly. not saying i like that, i've just seen that happen before.

Re: Urban Meyer to Jacksonville Jaguars

Lets not forget that football cyborg Nick Saban went 15-17 (and lost 3 more games in his 2nd year than his first) in his 2 years as a head coach in the nfl. it's not nearly the same ball of wax as CFB. Yes and Steve Spurrier went 12-20 with Washington. Not sure how well this will work, only a few c...

i think that as millers shooting goes, his defense "critiques" follows. He was shooting terrible at times last year and he was also a "bad" defender. this year he is shooting better and all of a sudden his defense is "elite". I'm not sure if the critiques last year were more about why should he be p...

i thought it changed on the defensive side, when sdsu used up almost all the clock, and then queta got the block out of bounds, and sdsu started the play again, then the tip and dive to the floor by bean and the eventual steal by worster. sdsu called a timeout after that and it was still a 5-7 point...

I would reserve judgement, and I have a hard time believing football players not wanting to play unless something seriously is wrong.
