Re: Depth chart predictions

Assuming no changes, our roster is now fully built. It's exciting and Karson seems like a great get. I know there had been discussion of picking up a grad transfer PG, but that did not occur. It looks like Karson is a shooting guard. What does our depth at the 1 look like? Does Marco start at the 1...

Re: Significant Speed Upgrade on Defense

I'm working on streamlining this depth chart so it's more reflective of what we will likely run in 2020. Obviously there aren't 13 or 14 starting spots. This depth chart was pre-spring ball. I will of course be releasing my position-by-position preseason previews as we near the beginning of fall ca...

Re: 2021 NFL Draft

I could see Savon Scarver making a team as a kick return specialist. He is a stud on kickoff returns! One of the best I have ever seen. He could also play a little WR for a team as well if he develops his skills in that department. I've always wondered why we don't use him on punt returns as well. ...

All of this recruiting and transfer talk has made me realize how different this year's roster would have been had guys not shuffled teams. From where we were 3 or so years ago, our roster on the 2019-20 team would have looked like this: Sam Merill Diogo Brito Koby McEwen John Middleton Roche Grootf...

Re: Abel Transfers to Ohio State

The non-power conferences become the proving ground for players the big schools missed out on or need to fill roster spots with when their young players jump early for the NBA and the dumping ground for players they misjudged when recruiting. I have a feeling seeing a 4-year player from a non-power...

Which one was the year that the BYU pregame show was asking if we would even score a touchdown and one of the guys saying he didn't think we would have 100 yards on offense? I recognize it was homers being homers but it sure was nice to see the pregame and then the halftime discussion basically ask...

I'd love to see the Aggies invited to the dance. However, I still have too many questions about this team. Minuses: Nobody besides Sam can consistently hit the 3. That's in contrast to many tournament (eye test) teams. Lack of seniors (only Sam and Diogo). Successful tournament teams typically have...

Re: Kuba and Bairstow

It feels like Bairstow's turnovers are lost on his attack to the hoop because he doesn't have strong hands for this level quite yet but that really isn't much different than a missed shot at that point because he doesn't lose it every take. Porter's turnovers are generally the opposite and outside ...

I think the zone works pretty good against teams like unlv, who can't hit outside shots. it also helped us because we were having a hard time keeping their guys getting to the hole, or all the way to the basket.
