Re: Merrill approaching 2,000 career points

Side note: I am grateful to have seen Estes play. He scored 2001 points in less that 3 years, AND playing fewer games per year that are played now. I also love the love given Sam and Jaycee as we mention them in the same sentence as Wayne. Every time Sam makes a spectacular play (which is of course ...

It is a great f'n song, isn't it? In terms of 80s sing-along songs that have withstood the test of time, it's up there. Others that come to mind: Don't Stop Believin' - Journey Living On A Prayer -- Bon Jovi You Shook Me All Night Long -- AC/DC Take On Me -- a-ha With Or Without You/Where the Stree...

I can tell a lot of these players had their lunch money taken away when they were kids. With the exception of Sam and Queta the team doesn’t have one competitive bone in their bodies. How can you be a "Former USU Alumni?" Does that mean that you had your records of attending and graduating burned? ...

We’ve watched the same guys on the court for the last year and a half and they are among the toughest, gutsiest, hardest-working, never-say-die players I’ve ever watched at Utah State. I highly doubt that overnight they’ve just decided to quit. It’s much more likely that most of them are playing at...

Rebounds ....USU. 29
AFA. 50

Yes, the tallest team in College basketball just got out rebounded by 21 against one of the shortest.
Maybe we should be ranked #9 in the conference again.

We have our problems.....but I think we have a good enough team to win a lot of Conference games. Just not enough to finish 1st but not lower than 4th. We should get a decent seed in the Cnf Tourney. By then......I HOPE.....we will be healthy (Queta) and will have a chance to win out. (I hope)

Back in the day (50's) any player over 6 7 was a giant. Our point guard, Max Perry, was around 5 8
And Wayne Estes was 6'5, which was about average for a Forward.

Well you are wrong about the strength being a issue with the team when you get pushed all over the field, game is over. Twenty years ago the Ags went 3-3 in the BWC and 4-7 overall. It was considered a reasonably unembarrassing season.

Ain't it great that expectations have grown? And the fanbase's hunger for success has has grown?
