Re: The 64 play/performance bracket is set

Love it but think Anthony Calvillo's 5 td/472 yards passing against BYU in 1993 for the win deserved a spot somewhere. Great work! I decided to edit the bracket one last time to give that a spot! I had three things from the 2010 win over BYU, so I just replaced one of them with that. As opposed to ...

Holy $hit! This is INCREDIBLE! Very well done my Aggie brother! I agree, you did a great job GFA. This will be fun. My only wish is to not forget the pre 1990s Aggie.players. I know this is mainly a young persons board, with some exceptions. If I had the gumption, I would poll the older AGGIES on t...

Re: A 64 play/performance Tournament

Here is an OLD one. I was 12 years old. Dad took me to the USU vs Utah game in SLC (we lived there). (still do) Utah had an All American QB named Lee Grosscup. We had Merlin frickin Olsen. Grosscup goes back to pass, see's his receiver, and lets it fly. It flew only about 3 or 4 feet, as Merlin rais...

As I was watching the local news this morning, they were showing pictures from the earthquake damage sent in by the local residents. One shot was of either a den, office or living room. Hal Hale put one up from over 20 feet out at the buzzer to beat the Utes in Logan in 1967. The best show that night though was a fight between Utah's Jeff Ochel (Okel) and our own Pete Ennega. Pete certainly got the best of it. Ochel's face was way swollen after the game. We won the game AND the fig...

I may be executed for saying this, but Brock Miller probably has the best chance of the existing players by my estimation. Either him or Bean. Miller has averaged high single digits in this first 2 seasons. If he averages around 19+ points a game for the next two seasons he would reach 2000. If he ...

I don't know who else has wore the number 5 jersey between Grant and Merrill, but if it has been only been Merrill then we need to get that number back on the court again next year. It’s that damn head sweat band! By the by, you old timers, do you remember who one of the first Aggie to wear wrist bands was? Paul Hoffman. He also shot the ball from behind his head. Plus, every time he made one he would clasp both hands, and raise his hands by his head and congratulate himself. ...

I have a new found respect for Dutcher. He didn’t flinch on any question. He was truthful, complimentary to his opponent, and was sincere about it. Agreed. Estes was and is a legend, but I think we tend to give him an untouchable status because of how he passed. If Wayne was the best. Sam is a clear cut #2. He's let Jaycee in the dust. You have great taste and wisdom the way you said that. At 71 years old I have seen a lot of Aggie basketball. It is hard for me to chose one over the other. Wayne did what he did in 75 games, which is in itself incredible......
