Re: New Commit

Call me cautiously pessimistic on this signing. Brayden Bell comes to mind based on his limited usage and very poor stats at Virginia after being a highly touted high school player. Interesting that Virginia was his only big conference offer. Hopefully he proves me wrong. I've pointed out before th...

Let us be real. Where would we be without Jim Laub?

It’s a lot easier to be an AD with financial support.
He is our Warren Buffett.

Worst idea I have heard for awhile. We are better than they are. We are in the top 25 (probably)... not them. Why even think of giving them a chance, and then not get a return Game? The absolute best days were when we played the U, the Y and Weber home and home every year. That was 6 games of pure f...

Oh, you children. I had to do a bit of research to refresh my recollection, but my first was when I got to campus as a freshman in the fall of 1968. Win over Witchita State, 38-0. Oh you child. My freshman year was 1966, the year we were ranked in the top ten preseason, then lost our first 6 games....

Since leaving Utah almost a decade ago, I have softened on BYU compared to Utah. Still don’t like BYU but Utah is clearly the bigger enemy to USU I’m my view.

Somehow I am over what happened in 1907. Have no problem with the Utes and no use for BYU. Yeah, it didn't stop in 1907. In 1960 they destroyed the Skyline Conference, and cut Utah State out of the WAC. They consistently blocked our entry to the WAC/MWC until they left for the PAC. Now, they won't ...

Mac was great. He was at USU for my freshman year, and I watched him play two years and missed his senior year because of my mission. The closest comparison I can think of to Lane is Devonte Mays, only Lane was a bit quicker, and a little more explosive. He was also harder to bring down. He was a jo...

If a street is named for Wayne Estes, it should be 4th North. That is the street he breathed his final breath, and is the south boundary of the USU campus. The only other option for me would be one of the streets than run past the old George “Doc” Nelson Field house...where Estes played his games. G...

It's not a choke when the other team is clearly more talented. If they are clearly more talented, then why did ESPN, TNT, and Vegas pick us as the favorite?
