USU is filling the spot with a MAC team? I'm pessimistic, but great if it can happen.
No. Sorry. I believe it’s the MAC that will cancel their season.

Re: Looks like our schedule is set

I've heard rumblings that We're trying to find an opponent to play to replace SUU. The game would have to be big enough to garner one of our TV partners to cover the game so that the income from the game would be enough to buy out SUU and then some. Theoretically we could pay SUU out of the funds t...

Re: Looks like our schedule is set

Are we really bailing out BYU? They already scheduled games with several of our conference mates so unless this opens the door for more scheduling of MW teams i just don't see how this is throwing them a bone. “Bailing our BYU” or “screwing BYU” was not part of the consideration. The MW did what wa...

Re: Players Opting Out (Allegedly)

Couple of questions. If a player opts to sit out, but the season is still played, does said player still remain on scholarship and get all the benefits/perks that come with it? If a player opts to sit, but the season is still played, does said player lose a year of eligibility? If the answer to the...

It’s not just the health risks. Some kids don’t want to play or waste a year of eligibility on a short season with no or few fans. It’s not what they signed up for. Coach A went on the radio after Spring ball and said that Colombi was "head and shoulders" above everyone else and that the coaches noticed that the other QBs were rather shocked at just how much further ahead Henry was than eveyone else. I would say that is a ringing endorsement of the kid's posit...
