I’ve listened to Gonzalez (sp?) since he was hired and I think he’s doing a fantastic job. He’s got Rocky Long in a perfect role down there. Energy, knowledge of NM, and he’s great at Xs and Os. UNM has been cursed by COVID more than any other team. His QB injury’s have hurt him too. We are dang luc...

Don’t think we are a contender in the MW.

Rollie was a bright spot. Marco was a major disappointment.

My brother played for Gary and then Wells at USU. One good thing about this is that there will not be many openings this year so we potentially have a larger pool of candidates.

Given Hartwell’s comments about “going national for the search”, “there was so many national candidates before” and “this HC just need to know the conference” I’m thinking he is not going to hire Jay Hill. As a Utah message board poster said, “if USU doesn’t go with Hill they are idiots”

I think he should be heavily considered. One issue is when he coached the bowl game two years ago the team was a bit undisciplined.

I noticed GA said we are way short on numbers for practice during the coaches show. Must be COVID

One Advantage of Not Playing This Year...

There is one advantage for the MWC (minus AFA) to not play this year - we can keep scholly's for next year. Another big advantage for us is we aren't in massive debt like our other MWC peers, so... we will not play catch up as much as our other friends in the MWC in years to come.

I hope our staff uses this incident to not only cleanup their potential issues but white coaches in general need to do a better job teaching others that this is not okay. I hope more white men speak up about the issues happening.
