Re: Brent Guy: Wow!

I remember Guy for these reasons: 1. He almost got the Boise State head gig and lost out, at the last minute, to Hawkins. 2. His D was great at ASU and we played against him with Cooley and company in Tempe (their fans are douche rockets. 3. He use to always say - my wife needs to hide the knifes in...

Fuentes too... we had a good team in 01 but our schedule was just brutal. LSU, Utah, Oregon, BYU, Central Florida, South Florida and we lost the most heartbreaking game against Wyoming. We also faced Carr and Fresno that year too. The wheels fell off the day Fuentes and his Oline left. I’ll never fo...

No lie, we had this discussion like 20 years or so ago when AVHS was built... BTW - I've noticed that lots of HS co-opt college logos all the time. The most egregious (IMHO) is Yucaipa (Ca) HS's use of the Y that the why stole from Yale Yucaipa uses the Y's blue color and all. Oceanside High ...

The deal is, none of us owe USU anything. The agreement between us is that I would pay tuition, they in turn would provide me an education. I have done my part, they have done theirs. Bobby agreed to come play football and USU agreed to cover the tuition because he's making money for the school and...

Stop with this idea of people oweing things. If you give, give without expectations. If you pay someone for a service, or a thing and they provide it, you're square. The only people oweing anything are those who stole something. Yeah! Like the government! I’m good with burning it! Anarchist! LOL!!!...

Boise has evidence to justify their point of view, but the Mountain West has the one thing Boise needs... membership. Boise can’t go Indy and the AAC isn’t a reliable option.

Boise loses this one in the long run... I’m sure the MW presidents are ready to take this one to the next level.

Disgusting! The players are gutless. They were an embarrassment to the entire university. No excuse. The worse display of basketball at USU I have ever witnessed in 68 years.
I can understand your frustration but this team is not gutless. This is a poorly thought out post.

Agree. Team looked best with Queta that they have all year. I think my frustration is that so many of our fans get delusions of grandeur over so little. At least we will keep Smith for another year and we didn’t renew his contract last year so we will save a few bucks.

I have confidence that he can get this back on track next year.

Ena. Ask him how he will bring the right kids into the program to make the 4-3 work? Ask him if he’s ever made any in game adjustments or if that is just a radical trend in college football? Do we use those inflatable human bubble thingies to teach tackling in practice? Lastly, ask him if he knows ...

When i played, if you got busted with weed, you were done - period. Now that's late 80's early 90's and I know times have changed, but I am sure there isn't anywhere in the USU athletics handbook on conduct that says a "little weed" possession is cool. That said, the kids deserve a fair shot in cou...
