He is a bishop and recruits quite well to Butte, gets good athletes. Kelvin Sampson got his start there too.

Adam Hiatt, just finished a 3peat conference championship. Only MTech coach since Kelvin Sampson to have a 3peat. NAIA to NCAA worked nicely for Mr. Sampson. Plus, the dude's a bishop, so presumably would fit the Logan demographic.TIC.

Do walk-ons really need to enter the portal. Aren't they able to talk to and be recruited by other schools without restrictions beyond the dead periods for recruiting? Sure, but it gets your name and info out there for all NCAA D1 D2 and D3 schools if your are in the portal
