I thought the same thing as soon as it happened. Glad it didn't cost us the game!

Here is the list of ranked opponents in the Spectrum as far back as ESPN's data goes. I don't know of any sources that go back before 2003. 2/12/2005 - #24 Pacific L 64-63 2/25/2006 - #25 Nevada L 75-57 3/1/2007 - #10 Nevada W 79-77 OT 1/25/2014 - #7 San Diego State L 74-69 OT 2/17/2018 - #24 Nevad...

Re: Everyone hates Bama. So will Clemson become

While the Clemson-Bama rivalry is developing, a lot of people in Alabama still have a fondness for the "Clemson Tide" given that Frank Howard, Danny Ford, and Dabo are all Bama grads. As much as I enjoy what RMH brings to the board, UA is the reason I can feed my family, so Roll Tide!

He does have HC experience at Indian Hills CC in Ottumwa, IA. His teams won their conference all three years and lost in the national championship game his final season. I do not think the distance from SLC airport is the main problem, it is the small city, and the very small fan base that supports USU. We are somewhat isolated from the main population in Utah, and with no interstate or public transportation to the front, we are somewhat isolated IMHO. If USU was i...

I've been high on Peery ever since he spoke at a stake priesthood meeting when we lived in Iowa. He's an up-and-coming coach who did well at PSU, leading them to the CIT in his...

Phil Savage (Senior Bowl executive director and Alabama football color analyst) was on the radio last week here in Alabama and listed Matt Wells as one of two G5 coaches that might get a P5 job at the end of the season. I'm not really sure it'll happen, but his name is floating around in other parts...

Interesting. Were those fouls similar to the one Pearre committed where he essentially told the ref to call the foul, or were they typical fouls that occurred prior to the inbounds? I didn't see Pearre's foul, so I can't be exactly sure. The most recent game I remember watching was Iowa-Indiana a c...

I thought, by rule, that a foul like the one Pearre committed prior to the ball being inbounded, is treated as a flagrant foul. I could be wrong about that rule, but Duryea was telling him to foul there. That was down 1 I believe and effectively ended the game. I've seen plenty of games this year w...

After the first punt on 4th and 2 in the 3rd Q was when I gave up hope of a comeback. The D was playing well to start the half and the O was finally moving the ball, and we essentially waived the white flag.

I moved over to this board once it started and agree that it's waaaayyy better than the Scout board. I don't post much, but browse quite a bit.

Don't forget their complete disdain of the wagon wheel. I had hoped they might at least recognize the history of the wagon wheels and their relationship with Utah (not a Church plug, just history). I guess a little brown jug, bronze pig, etc. have much greater historical significance.
