Re: Best / Worst Stadiums and where you have been

I have not been to a ton of professional basketball arenas, but the one I’ve been too that I liked the best for visibility and feeling a part of the game was AT&T Center (San Antonio). My least favorite arena has been Taco Bell Arena in Boise

Why not postpone vs cancel

I have a feeling a lot of people are going to wake up in about a week and say, "...oh crap, what did we do?!" You are correct. What we have now is panic and fear over the media hyping statistics about the flu. I remember one year during Christmas when almost every member of my family and and my ext...

Re: Ranking and bracket tracker

I think seeds 7-11 are all pretty comparable teams. I don’t believe an 8-9 seed gives us any better chance than a 10-11. It will be all about the matchup for us. We could be an 8 and get a 9 that really gives us a matchup fit and be a 10 and have a favorable 7 match up. At this point I just hope we ...

Jaycee was better statistically and his 3% was incredible, but Merrill has a killer instinct that I don't think even Carroll had. What statistics? I am mid 40s so I can’t speak for Aggies of all time - but in my lifetime it’s Merrill. Best all around Aggie BB player. Great shooter, good defender, g...

Re: Oklahoma bumps USU from the bubble ...

Utah is not a great team, but we have proved that we can lose to very mediocre teams. Can you imagine how disappointing it would be to end the season getting beat by Utah. Utah would be excited to be in the NIT and on the other hand USU would probably be disappointed not making the NCAA tournament....

What about line ups - any blame for blowing big leads rests on coaching? I think there is a pattern with our loses and lack of substitutions.

I said it before, and I will say again. The way teams have beaten us by the following: refs helping our opponent and physical play by the opponent with intent of injuring our players. Look at the San Jose State game, Brito was on a roll then the San Jose State game happen with being headbutted and ...

Why are we not playing any bigs after Queta? The small ball team has now lost to BSU, UNLV, and Air Force. What’s that definition of insanity again? Kuba and Dorius have to get playing time. Without them stepping up we are screwed. Why did we trust them all season long without Queta and not they do...

This game was lost the moment we let it go to overtime. Then we paraded out the same 5 that blew the 18 point lead and looked completely gassed. The Boise women's team could've won in overtime. The offense down the stretch was Dennis pulling up for three and our guys backing off or fouling him. Dur...

Re: I believe that we got iced by the fouls and review time

The thing is both teams had to sit through the fouls and the reviews. This was lost by poor coaching and expecting 4 guys to play for two hours and not get gassed True, but the moment changed in the game was when the fouls got crazy. Refs had more playing time than the players at the end of the 2nd...

I think we may need two RBs and a couple WRs. One RB grad transfer, but we will need another young RB to develop. We will also want some young talent at WR to develop. Any chance this can happen? We do not need another freshman RB. We just signed Elelyon Noa and Isaiah Afatasi. I think the immediat...

I’m not disagreeing that football is much bigger monetarily than basketball - but what school has a 70k football stadium and only 10k basketball arena? That arena comparison isnt far off. For example Michigan has a 110,000 seat football stadium and a 12,000 seat basketball arena. Lsu has a 100,000 ...

But there are what? 16 basketball home games as opposed to 6. I see the validity of your question. Hypothetically speaking if a school has a 10,000 seat stadium for hoops and sells out all 16 home games, that is 160,000 hoops fans. If the same school has a 70,000 seat football stadium and sells out...

I don’t think it matters to USU fans where they or Nevada is ranked preseason. If Nevada is as good as they look they will likely be ranked and if we were to play them the last game I could see that being for the championship - in that scenario I’m sure the court would be rushed

I kinda thought Smith eluded that Queta may redshirt. I probably misinterpreted, but after the exhibition game he said one other player may redshirt and it hasn’t been determined yet. I thought due to who had played in the exhibition game Queta was the only one still eligible to redshirt that hadn’t.
