Re: Parking at the church

Stake presidents and bishops have no say in the booting. It is managed by the local PFR rep who is employed by the LDS church to maintain all the churches in cache valley. I don’t know if that person is aware of the late game as he is a BYU homer

Re: LSU is overrated

If you’ve seen them play this year you would not think they are overrated. I think they are a playoff team. Seriously we could lose by 50. I love the Aggies, but no need to disrespect LSU - they are very impressive this year

Re: Uber and Lyft in Logan

I used Uber in Cache Valley about 6 months ago - we had car problems and I had to tow a car. It was just late enough I didn’t want to call someone to bother them for a ride. Unfortunately there was only one driver working. He was great though and the rate was similar to what I pay anywhere - I would...

I can’t stand BYU - but I have to respect them for doing what we long to do, but never quite do. Coulda woulda shoulda just doesn’t compare with did. We can argue if they’re up or down years but bottom line they win games that we have not.

Re: Random Pet Peeve

If I’m on a walk with my kids I don’t let them run on a random person’s yard or even a neighbor’s yard. I don’t like that an individual’s decision to get a dog suddenly makes it neighborhood’s shared responsibility. If pet owners can’t control where their pet roams, goes to the bathroom, digs, or t...

Additional pet peeves -using the passing lane as a turning lane instead of the middle lane. (Slowing down to almost a stop to turn while in the passing lane and then pulling into the middle lane and turn left) -holding a door open for someone with no response. Not a major pet peeve, but I always thi...

I don’t know anything about this kid, but I hope we always prioritize the best Utah players before going out of state. We shouldn't. Look at how well it's worked out for byu. Just go find the best players that will fit the program. Totally agree - get the best players, no matter where they are from.

Re: Sad BYU boardesque meltdown

I think most of the frustration is coming from fans who have been fans for a long time. We see the improvements to the program but are getting impatient to make that next level step. Watching us lose close games to p5 schools for several seasons gets old and gets frustrating. It is totally fine to l...

Still - that’s something to be proud of - if we were in the PAC12 and won it we would be ecstatic. Sure the PAC12 isn’t the powerhouse conference of the SEC, but winning that conference is still quite an accomplishment

I want the Utes to win. I want to see them hit 10 straight. I’m with those that say they can have an intelligent conversation with a Ute fan. Most are well informed and actually know about programs outside their university. BYU fans are intolerable, have no idea about any team outside BYU unless it’...

Maybe we could play our games in the pool Doesn't it just become water polo after that though? would make rushing the court.. er.. pool a lot more interesting. Caroline would punch out the lifeguard Unfortunately however Musselman’s 3-peat reveal would be lost in a sea of shirtless men.

But who needs bouncy houses when the players seemed to be more involved and interacting with the kids & families more this year? I'm confused about the knock on Miller's defense. I thought I remember reading it was Miller's defense that made him a starter at the beginning of the season last year. I know he's white and a shooter, and inherently that lowers a guy a few rungs on the perceived athleticism and defensive ladder, b...

I want Utah State to keep him. If he goes pro I want the Jazz to take a hard pass. He’s good. He was already somewhat of a liability in some aspects in college, those get magnified in NBA- presumably. He may get there, but he’s not there yet. From the evaluation I read by the Jazz I think they are ...

I’ve only been an Aggie for 25 years - but in that time I have never seen our fan base consistently support football to the point where we could have a sole out season and not even close to two in a row. Every year plenty of issues are brought up with the schedule. All of them are legitimate, but fi...
