Re: A confession

When I realized his acceptance speech was the same at USU as his previous school, well I admit I didn’t feel his words were as meaningful. It was fun to listen at first though. I think he is what Utah needs. They need some excitement.

Has anyone seen Tim Duryea around town? Like with Hatwell?
Yes, Tim had some type of document in his hand and uncharacteristically happy. ;)

Re: Coaching candidates

Here is a list I just made. It shows win % since 2017. https://i.postimg.cc/rzz9Xy2B/coaches.png Great stuff here. There really are a lot of good candidates out there. In Hartwell we trust Wow Russell Turner makes hardly anything. I would think Mills gets P5 Offers. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapa...

Re: Spring Ball

Gosh, guys, I am going to bed still totally excited about what I saw today. Again, the overall impression of speed and excitement encompassing everything was what stood out most. I am not 22 or like many of you but here is my best take on the offense. QB’s • Peasley had some nice flashes but 3 INT’s...

Re: What if I told you Craig Smith

I hate Craig Smith. I hope he never wins another game. But no, he didn't underperformed here. Disagree, smith failed to develop players around Neemis, left the cupboard empty. Were you not concerned about next year or notice usu lacked supporting cast in the championship game and tourney game? That...

Agree Smith under performed. If you were down at half with Stew you knew he was making a killer adjustment and coming back. His ability to develop under athletic people, make adjustments, and use big men was in a different level from South Dakota Smith.

I really think the way he treated his team is the stink of it, but I think the ones that stay will have better careers. I believe our AD can hire coaches.

I don't mind that he's leaving, I was prepared for that. In fact, I expected it would likely even be this offseason. I don't love that he's going to Utah, but I understand it. It's disappointing for Aggie fans, but he owes USU nothing and that's a great job. What rubs me the wrong way and honestly ...

How great would it be if we were able to hire Alex Jensen or Johnnie Bryant. Just to really stick it in Utah’s face.

Re: Coaching candidates

This is such a GREAT opportunity for Utah State!!! I have felt we needed to find a better coach for some time but loosing to South Dakota, Boise twice, SDSU, an the tourney loss convinced me Smith isn’t the right guy. Wow, I had expected our class to be far better. I had heard really nice things and now there is this. The 130s isn’t going to cut it. I hope this new staff will pick up steam a lot sooner than later. We are already in the cellar and I don’t want to become a dweller.
