Re: New commit per 22

I don't have a clue but just doing a little research it looks like Friday was the one announcing his offers and not the schools. Not that uncommon in today's world of recruiting but could be a little fishy . :noidea: I'm no expert in navigating recruitment sites like maxpreps or 247sports. I'm sure...

Re: Heart Broken!

Interesting football non season we have going . Some schools play and get all the attention, press and accolades while other conferences have just gone dark,,,dead in the water. The MWC has made it's own bed, and the brutal insult will be seeing teams that shouldn't be playing in bowl games raking ...

Their refusal to compete on Sundays will keep them out. Ironic when you think about it (as the byu faithful love seeing cougs in the NFL playing every damn Sunday). Their best shot is trying to convince the Big 12 to include them as a football-only member. It isn't likely that a P5 conference would ...

I’m onboard with these! Just please don’t throw the bull decal on them. Don’t put that decal on any helmet, for that matter. This small school (in the often overlooked western US) needs some logo consistency if we are ever going to build national brand recognition.

John Hartwell #18 AD in the country

Last week Brett McMurphy and Jeff Goodman announced who they thought were the top 5 Athletic Directors from the Group of Five conferences and Hartwell landed on that list along with Tom Holmoe. I was excited to see Hartwell's name mentioned and equally excited to see McMurphy label Holmoe as an AD a...

Given that: 1) It is June, and 2) I am a degenerate I am already knee deep in college football preview magazines. Starkvegas? What is the meaning of that? I had to google it. This goes back decades, apparently. It is a tounge-in-cheek expression that fans from rival SEC schools used to refer to Starkville. The common complaint was that it was a boring town with nothing to do and fans from other schools didn't ...

The only MWC teams with a better in-conference record over the last 5 years are BSU, SDSU, and AFA. I'd say our coaching and training staff have done fairly well for being in a "Tier 4" job situation. I'll regret giving this praise halfway through the season when I undoubtedly start cursing the coac...

Athlon Sports lists us at 9 but I guess Jordan Nathan was counted twice? Once on third-team offense and again on fourth -team special teams. Either way I don't know why USU Football felt the need to tweet it when all but three schools have more players than us on this Athlon list. https://athlonspor...

Hartwell was strong-armed into the GA hire by boosters. John had a short-list and it more than likely had Neal Brown's name at the very top due to their relationship from John's tenure at Troy. Mark Helfrich (who had coached an Oregon team to the National Championship in 2014) even showed great inte...
