Re: BYU vs Boise

I'm looking exclusively at what will help USU. The game I'm hoping for is a competitive game for the first half. Force Boise to open their playbook and hopefully BYU can reveal some BSU weaknesses. The second half I want Boise to throttle BYU. What I'm thinking that would do for us is 1. Provide goo...

Unbelievable! Re: Fake injuries to slow fast pace

Don’t know if this has been discussed anywhere yet, but I hate that players are allowed to sit down and fake an injury when you know it’s coached. In my opinion, when a player comes off due to injury they should not be allowed to return until the next half. Flopping should have no place in football.

Why do you think he seems to be struggling? Is it the receiving corps? Are teams preparing better for him? Is he simply over-rated?

In the event of cancellation, how will that impact our chances at a MWC title? So lets say we beat Boise and lose to Fresno. We would be 6-1. Boise would be 7-1. We still win it right? I'd argue that since we won the head to head we should win it as we don't have control over the weather. Furthermo...

I'm surprised he played safety so much. At 6'3" and 220, that is taller than the average NFL safety and about the average weight of an NFL safety. Many high schools, especially little ones in Idaho, always put guys that big and athletic rushing the edge. Also pretty tall and heavy for a running bac...

Still - that’s something to be proud of - if we were in the PAC12 and won it we would be ecstatic. Sure the PAC12 isn’t the powerhouse conference of the SEC, but winning that conference is still quite an accomplishment

Possible? Sure. Anything can happen. It's possible that we could win the big dance next season. Is it plausible? I don't think so.
