Re: Iowa State?
Well, the last basketball head coach Iowa State poached from Utah State certainly gave them a wild ride including a run to the Elite 8.

Re: I forgot to honor the greatest Aggie player
Monday Feb.8 1965 was when Estes got killed. I was 11 and like many CV kids then, Wayne Estes was our hero. His death affected all of us back then. Estes influenced us to be die hard Aggies. We loved him, we loved his play, and we will never forget him! We have been blessed to have many great baske...

UNLV 59 - Boise State 61
Geez. UNLV every opportunity to win and choked it away. Terrible shots, bad possessions and missed FTs down the stretch.

Re: Has anyone here
I think the better question is: has every game been sold out or nearly sold out? If so, they priced them right for this year. The most important thing this year to me is not whether I could attend the games but whether the AD could maximize revenue in a year of huge financial losses. I’m happy there...

I have it frozen on replay with .1 on the clock. It’s 4 feet out of his hands. Good if it goes.

Spoke with my son (Stephen Kotsanlee) on Sat night (Aggie time) and he said the vibe amongst the team is rockin'. He hasn't detected any tension with all the new players in the locker room. He's loving the new coaching team. Yeah, I know he's just a punter but ...... 😉 He’s a damn good punter and w...

Re: No foul
I did not enjoy the obvious travel violation on the UNLV in-bounds with 5 seconds left. But, honestly the refs caught the other travel just before it as that Freshman went up for the dunk. The refs definitely let them play, and there were some bad calls. If only that travel had been called we could...

Re: One huge difference between Smith and Stew
Okay, you can complain about 18 from Anthony (6-6 FT btw of 12 total FTA by the team - he also had 9 rebounds) but scoring has to come from somewhere. Anderson was 0-6, zero points; Ashworth was 0-3, zero points (5 turnovers); Queta was 3-9, 8 points; Miller only took three shots when he was the onl...

Re: One huge difference between Smith and Stew
The problem is Bean is too good at all the garbage work to keep on the bench but having him playing beside Queta means a crowded paint since neither can draw their man out beyond 15 ft. Then you got Anthony is crucial to our D but a liability on O, and 2 point guards that are turnover prone and str...

Re: Batman v. Superman? Smith v. Queta?
No Aggie fan in their wildest dreams could have predicted the 2018-19 squad would win a regular season co-championship and tournament championship with a Nevada team that was considered a top 10 team going into the season and in a league that we had barely sniffed 4th place once. The single greatest...

I have to imagine it is very tough to be away from friends and family. Compound this with the frustration of not getting meaningful minutes, and it is easy to understand why one would want to break it off. Not many freshman see meaningful minutes - I wonder if Smith & Co. sat him down to lay out th...

I thought Ashworth was the difference today. Tremendously impressed with the kid. Gamer through and through. I was a little skeptical of those that were saying before the season that he just has the “it” factor. They were right. I know what they were talking about now. Great win. We’ve won a bunch o...

Is there an actual press conference scheduled or are they just releasing a statement? Sounds like the latter in the article.
If there is an actual press conference, what time is it?

still mad that we were held to just 57 points. we have to do better. Who am I kidding? I loved everything about that game. Ashworth's spark off the bench on the first half was probably my favorite part. The separation made then held up the whole game. Ashworth’s energy and fearlessness really infec...

Even if she said what the explanation was, it isn't ok. She blew it. I hate to say it because I don't think there is a discrimination problem, at least I hope not. But if I did a similar thing in a hiring situation at my job and it let to this kind of a black cloud, I would be gone. Yeah that’s bas...

That move of Queta's where he dribbled around the guy on the low block and threw it down in traffic with two hands was a thing of beauty. I would like to seem him attack the basket in that way more often when he doesn't get double-teamed. He sometimes lets himself get pushed off the block and force...
