Re: Embarrassing

We had the most epic meltdown I can ever remember last year at Boise State with a much more experienced team and the year ended with us beating the #5 team in the country and winning our second conference tournament in a row. We have eight freshmen on our roster of sixteen. We had two days to prepar...

Re: Craig Smith Crossover Classic Press Conference

Craig Smith, man. How lucky are we that he is our head coach. Who wouldn’t want to play for him? The guy is just infectious with his enthusiasm. Excited to see our team tonight!

Let’s go, Aggies!

Re: I am grateful

I am grateful we all got to experience together that incredible shot that Sam hit to win the MW championship and take down the #5 team in the country. It is a moment we all talk about for the rest of our lives. "Merrill - for the lead......He's got it!!!!!"

Re: Damage to the state of the program

I think we are going to see a significant reduction in fans attending games in every sport at every level. It was already trending that direction and this forced break will reveal to many more fans that they can live just fine without them. Hope I’m wrong. I see it just the opposite. People will be...

Re: Coaching Candidates

Unless the wheels fall off neither Hill or Choate will be serous candidates. I can't wait to see this coach that Hartwell comes up with that outmatches the resume of Jay Hill. IMO, the most important coaching resume builder is for a coach to take over a train wreck and then build it into a contende...

Re: Wyoming Game - COVID impacts (Game Cancelled)

As I predicted about two weeks ago, the whole season will get canceled, watch for it. Back in March and April, I was thinking there would be no sports until Fall 2021. We got a little tease with 4 games of bad football - that's almost worse than no football. At least it allowed us to rip the Band-a...

Re: Better, worse, or the same as last year?

I think it might take some time to gel together on the court, but the team will hit their stride at the right time late season and into the tourney. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This approach pretty much guarantees they have to win the conference tournament to play in the NCAA tournament (if ...

Re: As bad as we thought Kent Myers was

No intelligent football minded person thought Kent Myers was bad. He was a fine QB for USU. Check out his stats. He was a winner. ^^^this^^^. Thank you. Myers did some really good things here including a 5-1 record as a freshman with a bowl win after Keeton, Garretson and Harrison all went down wit...

I get that everyone is angry. We should be. But this is really not on Shelley. Its squarely on the shoulders of Gary Andersen. He's the one that went and got him. He's the one that drove Colombi away. He's the one that tanked our program. He's the one that put Shelley in this spot where he's clearl...

Re: Positives from Today

Good points! We had way more yards than the previous three and if we catch a couple more balls this is a much closer game. Also it was a huge swing to have Warren make a huge run fumble while fighting fir extra yards and then have them score in 4 plays. Anyone know what #26 Robinson was playing ins...

I was on the fence about going to the game on Saturday. I can’t remember any other time in my life that I considered just not going to a home football game. But since Hartwell stepped in, I now feel sort of obligated to get out there and support the team and the program. Now I’ve just gotta find thr...

I really don't know. Doesn't seem like much of anything has worked well. I just wear my mask when I go out and try to limit the whole going out part. That's just what I choose to do. I just thought that in the context of what Gov. Herbert was saying, it seems odd that he exempted these other large ...

Re: New COVID restrictions

I found it odd last night to hear that Gov. Herbert was exempting collegiate athletics, etc. Not my call; but why not just restrict everything if things are this bad, which they clearly are? He said that college athletic conferences already have COViD protocols in place for the players. The fans ar...

I'm really intrigued with the potential Rich Rod. He's a proven coach, that was still winning at Arizona when he was cut. Granted I know he made some mistakes there, but I'm ok with giving him a second change. Point is, I think he's hungry to prove himself again and his offensive and defensive syst...

The attack field goal. They'll never see it coming. THe only time you do that is if there is like 30 seconds to go in order to give yourself an onside/hail mary chance. WIth 3 minutes to go on the 20 and 2nd down you go for a TD. I like Wells, but those are decisions that seal can seal your fate. E...

Some idiot I talked to said that Colombi was on his way out, and that's why they brought in Shelley, but I'm not buying in.

Anybody else watching TT? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a call like that in my life. Down by 9. 3 minutes left. Colombi driving down the field. 3 timeouts. Wells elects to kick a field goal on 2nd and 4 from the 20. And they miss it.

Re: Gary Fired!!!?!?!!

I'm sure it'll get worse. Since this year doesn't count, the whole team could up and leave immediately. We better hope enough like it here or we may not field a team next weekend...or next year. This could destroy USU football as we know it simply because of a virus changing the rules for a season....
