We will not beat CSU at their place
or win any of other road games with Brock Miller starting. We were fortunate to be tied when we finally pulled him like we should have earlier. We can't depend on making the runs we did last night at their place with him screwing us up. Forget pulling him with 10 minutes left in the game there, pull...

Re: Loser Mentality
It's sad that we're aspiring to finish in the middle. We should always aspire to finish at the top but the past few years we've finished at the bottom so a finish this season in the middle would be a movement in the right direction. It would be awesome if we could immediately go from the bottom to ...

The system is the problem
We can make excuses of people being hurt or who we played all we want, but the problem is the system. Duryea's system is not going to work at Utah State cause we are not going to get the athletes that can make it work. If you even call it a system at all.

Georgia almost fired him after last season, and might fire him after this one. We should go after him if they do.

You have to love that Randy doesn't use budget and private jet excuse like some of you use for Duryea. He is even hampered by not being able to pay the athletes the cost of attendance, yet he doesn't let that be an excuse.

We should NOT hire an HR firm next time
When we hired the HR firm that was supposed to be used to find a new coach, Barnes didn't use it for that like he should have, all he used it for was to find him the sweet job at Pitt. And there is NO reason to think that Hartwell and the rest of the AD wouldn't do the same. So when we have openings...

Re: We can't keep using the youth excuse
Well, it is fact that David came here cause of Stew, and it is fact he didn't want Duryea hired, and it is fact that he left cause he didn't like him. And it is also fact that the rest of you kept using that as an excuse for his performance last year.

When we win tomorrow
i don't want to hear the same old BS we heard earlier this year about Duryea being great and things changing. The fact is, even though we will win, it won't be cause of Duryea being so great, it will be cause of CSU having a short bench. And it won't mean we are going to finish in the top 3. And wou...

Not having a private jet shouldn't be an excuse
It's pathetic that some of you are giving Duryea the excuse of not having a private jet like SDSU. But the fact is, a private jet wouldn't help him manage games any better or cause the teams to show any more toughness. And even besides SDSU, that still shouldn't be an excuse for losing to Indiana St...

Re: Game management late in the game
It seems like under Duryea, every time we have been tied with two minutes left and call timeout, we have always managed the game poorly at the end and lost. We beat teams we have more talent than, but have we even won a game where we were tied towards the end? The games include Boise this year and ...

Re: What do Tim and the coaches do this week?
Change rim heights to prevent teams from setting 3 point FG records. That must have been what NEV did against WYO. Or work on the three point defense instead of continuing to call it a fluke that teams have their best shooting nights against us. Maybe the fact that we leave guys open has something ...

We can't keep using the youth excuse
Some of you insist on defending Duryea with the excuse of being young, but the fact is, HE is responsible for us being young. Maybe if he was decent, we wouldn't have Collette, Lew Evans and Elston Jones leave cause of not wanting to play for him. If we have more underclassmen leave after this year ...

The fact that the team lacks the toughness needed to win road games without playing perfectly is a reflection of Duryea. Which shows why he should not have been hired.

The fans who drive long distances to and from the games, put forth more effort by pushing the gas pedal the whole time, than the kids did in the second half.

It is no excuse that we weren't prepared for the zone. That is all Duryea's fault. When the kids have been playing for 15 years, they should be prepared to face a zone.

Last year, you guys all used the kid leaving as an excuse for Duryea's poor job last year, when the real problem was coaching. No excuses this year. Especially when you consider Duryea was responsible for the kid leaving. We hopefully won't have any last minute defections this year. BUT if we do, th...

The worst part of the defection
The worst part of the defection two days before the season is that it hid the REAL problem, that Duryea is a poor coach who should not have been hired. And instead gave all you guys an excuse to use to defend him. The fact is, even without the kid, we still had talent. We wouldn't be able to play li...
