Re: Indy roll call
I swear we always get sent to some place that doesn't have easy flights into or out of from the west coast, and for that reason.... I'm out. As far as travel goes, here's the cheapest I've found, curious to hear if anyone has found better: On the way out the clearly best from Utah looks like Allegi...

Didn't even cross my mind. You don't storm the court when you're above the other team in the standings and/or ranked in the same vicinity as them. Would be embarrassing had we stormed it.

Re: USU v. utah 2024
I am just curious, why is everyone so confident we won't play the 3rd game? If the U goes into this agreement with every intention of canceling the last game, that makes zero sense for them. Either way, I feel like it is a win for USU. Exactly, why wouldn't they just schedule a home/home with no mo...

Re: Please help, I'm stupid
Hey guys, I really want to make the MW tourney this year. I keep looking up the dates and it says Mar 10-15. But it's referencing men and women. And a bunch of options. Can you guys help me with actual men's dates? And is the MW site the only place to get packages for all games? Thank you all!! htt...

Looks like Jackson committed to SUU. Interesting as he had received an offer from UNLV a few days before.

Most NBA arenas have whole separate courts that they piece together. This is how they have the various color schemes but also take apart the court for other events in the venue. This is a cool video showing Staples center changing 6 times in 4 days for playoff games in 90 seconds Kings (hockey) - L...

The college lines looked as permanent as the NBA lines to me, but were easily pulled up after the game as you can see in this picture I took of my kids with Darius (who was awesome with the kids BTW, as were Great and Ian). https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ABLVV86PSPwZuYk2yB7uGOj-UXNIyqEarUxKaFR...

ScottyG mentioned in the braodcast that Sam Merrill had talked to him and said that a lot of shots would end up being taken from beyond the NBA line because it can be confusing. I was going to run through the replay and see how it worked out since I know it happened a lot (and therefore MAY have hu...

Re: TV Coverage Schedule
Confirmed by the official "Game Notes", game will not be televised or streamed. I kept assuming it would eventually get announced for MW Network at a minimum. Pretty embarrassing in 2023. I imagine the SF fans are not pleased, I know we wouldn't be if this had been the reverse. I can't even remember...

Re: USU vs. San Francisco Tickets
Out of curiosity, why are we playing them in SLC? Last year we agreed to a Neutral/Neutral agreement with them. The SF game was at the Chase Center last year and we had to find a Neutral venue for this year. Apparently the Maverik Center was also considered. Sucks that their Neutral venue was a lot...

Re: TV Coverage Schedule
But most of the televised games seem to be home games that many of us already attend in person. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk USU has no control over tv coverage for away games. This is not the NBA where each team has their own local broadcast for away games. In college the home team has TV ...

Coached him in little league for three years. I don’t love that he bailed on his boys at Davis. I wonder how long he will keep making the commute from fruit heights to Lehi? He was class of 23, but he did 8th grade twice to reclass to 24. I am remembering that he has an August birthday so he was re...

Jackson Stevens (Skyridge)
Anyone heard anything about Jackson Stevens from Skyridge? I know he visited Logan for one of the early season games. Visited UNLV for their last home game. He looked good in the state title game against Corner Canyon, and put up some big numbers in his 3 years starting (2 at Davis, 1 at Skyridge). ...

Fieldhouse could be fun for a season. Capacity peaked at 6,655, but according to the 1970-71 media guide was later reduced to 5,500 by the City Fire Chief. Couldn't find many pictures of the Fieldhouse during basketball games, here's a couple. https://i.postimg.cc/nM6bTJpS/default.jpg https://i.post...

Re: USU vs. San Francisco Tickets
The tickets are surprisingly affordable. I couldn’t resist grabbing the courtside front row seats in between our bench and the scorers table for $71 (plus fees) including Entrata Club access. Second row only $41 with Delta Sky 360 Club, and then Row 5 for $21 including Toyota Club access, both with ...

Went to the KSL streaming site for HS football, and our bball game is listed there: https://kslsports.com/stream/
Whether it actually gets streamed, who knows. Maybe it will just end up being the 1280 audio

What time will the 2nd round game versus Arizona be on Saturday? Won’t be announced until Thursday games are over, or close to it, but won’t be before 3:15 pm MT. Only one site has games before then at 10:10 am and 12:30 pm, can’t imagine that site would be Sacramento with a 9:10 am local first tip.

Re: 10:40am local tip time. WTF?
Yeah Des Moines tips 20 minutes later than our game, usually the west coast site tips last, but in any case 20 minutes wouldn’t make much difference. This is how it’s always been, the first game of the west coast site is early, but at least now with the staggered tips it is close to 11 am. In the CB...

Why doesn’t the alumni fans and general public get into the games? If it weren’t for Ashworth waving his hands up and down all game long, I don’t think they would ever stand up and cheer. . . Is it because we have too many elderly fans? Or because we don’t sale alcohol? Taylor Funk’s dad was in the...

Re: Stadium update/renovation
I think we may look to move the student section. I know it’s a great environment on the field, but it really hurts us economically. Those seats are prime real estate. Would it be feasible to just move them to the south end zone sections, and then we can transition the east side into more of a moder...

Right before the start of the second half, the ref (the California surfer dude looking one) was testing something, blowing his whistle and messing with something clipped to his belt behind his back, i'm assuming this had to do with the clock issues.

just as the AAC couldn't rob from us, we can't rob from them, so yea, no one from the AAC is going to bail. Basically, if Burkhardt/Olsen is covering the game, it is the “Game of the Week” / primary game (just like Buck/Aikman games of years past). For CBS their primary game is always Nantz/Romo. https://www.foxsports.com/presspass/blog/2022/10/27/fox-nfl-week-8-schedule-and-regionalization/ See link abov...

Re: Fox 13 in Salt Lake be like
Fox 13 has no say in which games they broadcast. The network makes game assignments by the weekend before, then affiliates can request switches. 506sports.com does a good job with maps of which game is going where, and provides "updates" on mid-week affiliate switches on the bottom of each map (exa...

Re: Oct 8th Game Time
Should be announced 13 days in advance, 10/1 times/networks being announced today. So we should know one week from today. The networks will sometimes use "6 day holds" if results of the upcoming Saturday could influence their decision, in our case I think that's unlikely. FS1 also has Fresno/Boise t...
