Doubtful
When they were 24-1 all the bracketology had them as a better seed. Had they not lost to SDSU twice and USU they get a top 4 seed. San Diego State was a 4seed in 2014.

Pretty decent records considering there was virtually no support and commitment to athletics from past presidents until Stan came along.
There has been good support for the football program since we joined the MW.

Re: Let's Be Honest About Who We Are

Gary is in year one. Wells ran into the softest schedule USU has ever had and got the F out of Dodge the first chance he got. I'll be more willing to be honest about who we are in year 4 of the Andersen experiment. I'm guessing we'll have a MW conference championship under our belt by then. 11-2 is...

That is all just fine but, will your fans be willing to give what Boise fans do and did ? By the way the Utah team we beat in overtime had a losing record that season. Boise is also the top team in their state located in the biggest city that has business that are willing to invest for success. At ...

The 5:00 slot would have been ideal, but the nice thing about the 8:00 games are generally you can get higher attendance. It gives people time to do their other activities during the day and then attend the game at night. Do the numbers back this up? Seems like it would really negatively affect att...

Serious question here, why do people think we've taken a step back? We've lost to two undefeated P5 teams, that quite possibly are having historic seasons for their schools. I get that it hasn't looked as polished and smooth, but we've beat who we were supposed to and SDSU and CSU are not slouch te...

Vanderbilt is in the SEC they played them at home and from what i saw of their game the LSU defense wasn’t like it was today. What is the point of playing if we aren’t willing to play the best. The dream would be to play a team like LSU in a ny6 bowl. Yeah it is amazing how defeatist this board has been today. Definitely not something I'd expect. Last year the talk was of going to a NY6 bowl if the ball bounced one way or...

Re: When you whore yourself out, you’re bound to get the clap

We don't really "whore" ourselves out. We play one of these games a season and the vast majority of times the team isn't as elite as LSU this year. 7-5 Auburn, 8-6 Wisconsin team, 7-6 Tennessee, 7-6 Washington and 7-5 Michigan State are some of the teams we have played recently. Another positive is we have discovered that our fan base is unified in not wanting to play elite teams. If we ever get invited to a NY6 bowl, our AD will know that we should turn down the invitation and save our players for the next season. In fact, we will probably forfeit all 12 regular season ga...

The problem with Love is that he is no threat to take off and run it. That is what made Chuckie the better college qb and allowed us to compete in the big p5 games during his tenure. Even when none of our receivers could get open, Chuckie could scramble and get good chunks of yards. When receivers ...

Yost is a special coach, but he ain't coming back. Neither is Aranda or Orlando. I didn't expect much today. This was the definition of a body bag game. LSU might be the best team in the country. Let's see what our coaches can do the rest of the way. Every game from here on out is winnable.

It makes sense if we avoid any bad losses like last year. Last year our worst loss was at byu. We had no bad losses in conference. That was something impressive about last year's team is they didn't lose to teams they shouldn't have lost to. Avoiding bad losses is key for getting a good seed.
