Is Queta playing in the World Cup next month for their national team? Good to see him playing well for their U2- team.
I don't think Portugal survived the qualifying rounds. They are not listed among the 32 teams.
Too bad.

Yeah I remember as a kid we didn't have cable so if you missed a game you had to check the newspaper the next day. Definitely a different time. I remember going to bed wondering who won various games.

The picks may or may not amount to a good player but getting those picks COMBINED with tanking, and I think Presti did a good job. Tanking can get them a superstar or two that they need. Sounds like Kahwi is going to the Clippers and he's taking George with him. This is hilarious. Then Toronto does it with Kahwi and not only is he not staying, he's going ...

Re: Your Best and Worst USU ADs

Yes, Barnes deserves blame for either striking out on his own targets or being lazy about Morrill's replacement but in the end, the hire of TD is on Morrill, the local media, and former players that pushed the Duryea hire on Barnes. He was most certainly not the candidate of choice by Barnes. Still...

I feel like Barnes buckled to former players and Stew on the Duryea hire. He couldn't secure Connors, so he made the easy hire and took his cut of the "search" money and left town. Yes with Butler, not as much with Auburn. An SEC team with a sleazebag like Bruce Pearl as their coach making the Final Four doesn't really get me excited. To be fair I don't think I could cheer for NMSU, so them winning in the 1st round wasn't really something I cared for either.
