Re: Stadium pre-season rankings

For those interested, This is Chris Murray's preseason forecast.. http://nevadasportsnet.com/sports/mens-basketball/mountain-west-basketball-preseason-rankings-for-the-2019-20-season I disagree with his take in that A. Anderson as the lone impact player incoming. JC transfers - Karwowski , Anderson...

Re: Who's your candidate for most improved?

I would have to say the following 4 would be in this category.
Queta
Bean
Porter
Miller
3 of them were freshmen last year, and Porter improved greatly last year and has potential to be even better than last season.

Alphonso Anderson only played in 10 games during his first season of JuCo ball. The coaching staff is confident that they can apply for a receive a medical redshirt. That would make Alphonso a sophomore. I have a hard time believing that Anderson can be made into a RS SO. Before NIC years https://g...

They have said in the past that they tried to give the best teams in the conference the highest chance to get a good RPI rating. In other words, the teams who were expected to be the best in the conference would only face the teams who were expected to be worst once per year. That obviously was not...

Contenders? Gonzaga, Arizona, Washington, who else?
My preseason top 2 of the West
1) Oregon
2) Utah State
Arizona might be great too, but it is a bit of unknown at this point.
Washington and Gonzaga lost their key players to the NBA draft and/or were also senoirs.

“Top 15” But we are not a top 15 team at this point. If we go undefeated we are barely a top 10 team. Three teams have gone undefeated into the NCAA tournament since 1990. The lowest ranked of the two was number 2. I think we'd be better than barely top ten. But it's not going to happen, obviously....
