Just saying- USU is 2-0 when I watch them on a delta flight. Watched the LA Bowl and now this. I loved the attitude that they were there to win. Take down Purdue, Aggies.

So Lucky! Stop worrying about charters and start worrying about the game! Just saying! I love Sprinkle but every interview he has to mention that. Hopefully that means he is giving hints to the university and wants to stay. I hope so bad the rumors of us doing all we can to keep Sprinkle is true! W...

It makes me wonder if teams will start going to the development, let them sit for a year model instead of the throwing them to the wolves right out of the gate model.

Re: Florida State very unhappy with the ACC
I don’t get this at all. Clemson has very recently made the playoffs, so it’s not an ACC thing. They are in an enviable situation being in a power conference that has a lot of winnable games. 9 out of 10 years they make the playoffs with an undefeated record, but this year was the exception. Why go ...

Re: NCAA president Charlie Baker is proposing the creation of an FBS subdivision that permits schools to directly compen
One way I wouldn’t mind this is (if there were separate tiers) is if they had separate national championships for tiers 1,2, and 3. If you think about it, it’s kind of crazy that we all follow a football team that will never have a chance at ever winning a NC if we’re in the same FBS as all the big ...

Re: If I were a UNM fan
I completely agree, especially with their running back (#5) playing the way he was, averaging 10 yards a pop.
And us going for it on fourth down in OT was such a no brainier call. I’m so glad Anderson came to his senses and went for it.

Getting in position to catch a Hail Mary
One thing that happens often with Hail Marys (as with the Jets game), the ball bounces off the receiver’s hands a couple yards back toward the goal line. There should be a designated primary ball catcher, and a designated ricochet guy. The ricochet guy’s job is to be 3 yards in front of the primary ...

Ha- speaking of volleyball schools, I was looking at the Nebraska score and was thinking if they can’t beat Maryland at home, they are truly becoming a volleyball school… seeing that earlier in the fall, they sold out the football stadium for a women’s volleyball match.

I have it on good authority that we spud stop recruiting high school players like Ike. I mean who wants aguy like Ike in the team when he is just going to play for 2 years before moving on. Re: possible source of NIL money
My questions- in the future could we pay our coach 1M instead of 1.5? Coaches' salaries can't keep going up forever, right? Can we use that extra 500K for NIL? I think that one of the most misunderstood things in NIL is that the school can't pay the players. That money can't come from the schools a...

possible source of NIL money
I've been wondering with NIL, will that negatively affect future coaches' salaries, especially for the non blue blood schools with finite funds. In college football, a program's desirability for a potential HC is traditionally based on coach's salary, and ability to recruit good players. NIL pool is...

He's mad about playing a late Friday night game- here's the quote.... "Who makes these 8 o'clock games? Dumbest thing ever. Stupidest thing ever invented in life. Who wants to stay up until 8 o'clock for a darn game?" Sanders said Wednesday on Buffs PrimeTime. "What about the East Coast -- do they e...

Winning record for me. Also, P5 victories mean more to me than bowl victories against a G5. I'd love to see a P5 victory every other year. So schedule winnable P5 games! Re: The likely reason UConn didn't run 97 for 2
That’s similar to how I felt at the USU BYU game in 2011. byu’s last drive, we were up by 4. During that drive I was thinking to myself that I wish we were up by only 3, so they’d be content to kick a FG to tie it. Instead, they scored a miraculous TD to win it.

Re: Why did the team wait until today to travel back east
It's an extremely routine thing, in fact, it would have been weird for them to leave yesterday. They typically arrive at their destination at around 5 or 6 the night before regardless of if it's a bus ride to Boise or a flight to Hartford. it's normal for USU, but a team like Oregon or USC would go...

Re: Why we should do more deep balls and less screens
Agreed! Obviously take what the defense is giving you, but let’s take more shots down the field if it’s man coverage. Plus the threat of the deep ball will open up the run and short passing game so even if we don’t hit on one, the threat is there.
