Cayman Islands Classic
Sweetie and I just received our "marching orders" from the Cayman Islands Classic. I was wondering if there are any in this board who are planning on making that trip (?) It seems like there is a coterie of 6 or 8 folks whom we see each year at the MTE. Have come to know some of them on a first name...

OOC Schedule?
I am as thrilled with the roster development as the next guy. But, I can’t help but start thinking about the next big hurdle looming for this team organizing for the coming season … the Schedule. Now, I recollect there were a few “home-and-homes” agreed to in scheduling last season. There is the ret...

Yeah. Those "away" tailgates are put on by the Alumni Association. Games I have attended at Wake Forest (twice) Tennessee, Auburn, and (memory fades of others) oh, yeah, LSU, there was STILL Aggie Ice Cream! (Sweetie was VERY impressed when she saw that.)

Re: Which games will you be attending in person this season?
All home games, but also a bowl game unless it's on Dec 24-25. Bowl games are a blast, is easier to get away from work that time of year. I'd posted over on "Stew's Spectrum" forum my intention of going to the MTE. My hope is that Hawai'i is not bowl eligible, that maybe USU gets the bowl invite as...

MTE Sticker Shock
Well, after some domestic debate, Sweetie and I pulled the trigger and made reservations for this year's MTE, the Diamond Head Classic out in Hawai'i, over Christmas holiday. I will need to go back and check receipts but I was just a little jolted at the "bottom line". If my recollection is correct,...

I like his honesty and saying, "This place is a really good fit for my family and me right now," but at the same time not trying to fool us into thinking he's going to be here forever. He is the kind of coach I hope to get every time we hire. Someone who is so successful that they put USU in a bett...

SDSU and Boise. MWC really doesn't want USU winning the league again in the next few years. Or a compliment that we are playing the other two top programs in the MW. I don't understand the "they're out to get us" attitude from the majority of the board regarding the MW. What evidence for that is th...

I’m really not into the NIT, CBI, CIT, etc. I’d rather make the NCAA tourney and lose in the 1st round than win one of those other tournaments. I’m probably in the minority, but those tourneys are almost meaningless to me. It’s all about the dance! If I were a recruit and I could join a team that h...

When we lived in Toronto and Boston, my brother-in-law nd I set up a telephone scheme. I think it shows that SDSU is beatable at home. Lets get ‘em! Only times that we lost to SDSU in the last few years was having midnight basketball or everyone being sick and/or key players being injured ....or, that time when all our Tight Ends couldn't play because they had COVID. ;)

This isn't a tournament bound Aggie team, but it will still provide a lot of great moments. Agreed, this is not a tournament team, but they can have some really good wins this year.
