Re: Now on to other speculation
Last week one of the players that I know said that keeping Koby after the TD firing would be a lot of work. That was obviously before anyone knew who the new coach would be but the player did not give it good odds that Koby would be back. I imagine that is being aggressively worked right now. If Ko...

Re: Smith it is!
I will support him but not the hire I was expecting. Hartwell made it sound like we were going to be blown away by this hire. Far from that. Why wouldn't we hire a guy like Randy Rahe over this guy? Because Tim sullied the resume of anyone remotely connected to the Morrill coaching lineage. Despite...

Quayle is an exception in that he had an offer to BYU. He refused to committ to the Aggies until he had a chance to tell the Cougar coaches to stick it. Isby, Pearre, and Dargenton are all out for sure and we only have 1 scholarship taken up for next year with Grootfaam since the local kid is mission bound. Should have a minimum of 2 spots, and maybe another depending on the status of Ainge and Janicek. Smith has been recruiting guys for SD for mont...

Plane landed. Went to a part of the runway that I couldn't see then pulled near the CVE hangar. By time I got to my car, the area had cleared with only a car or to near the CVE hangar. Jared Quayle was a Box Elder grad at Western Wyoming CC. I’d put him on that list too.

Not sure it’s a better job. TD wasn’t making much more than this guy. It’s a better conference, I would think we have an edge on our facilities, other than that not much that I can see. Smith will make at least double what TD made and double what Smith made at South Dakota. Sent from my iPhone usin...

There’s still a replay of their game against Denver on March 5th on ESPN3 Thanks for the info. I plan to do some late night studying tonight. So far I see a very ball dominant guard in Moony doing most of the shooting but there is a lot of movement off the ball and cuts towards the basket. I like t...

I hope these rumors are true and that this deal gets finalized today. I wondered when they said the list of candidates was down to 3 and they were only listing 2 names, that the unlisted name would probably end up being the one chosen. In this case it looks to be Smith, so that's awesome. My prefer...

Why fire duryea if this is all you can do? Peery has been fired from every D1 job he's had except for the current one he's been at for a year, right? Hopefully no one in this thread knows anything. Re: Roche Grootfaam injured in NJCAA tournament
While a tough blow, you should honor the LOI. You have relationships and an image to maintain. Will coaches trust and recommend us if we do this? Southern Idaho rarely sends us their better players anyway. Goes beyond CSI. Don't you think other JC's and players will see how we handle this? JCs and ...

Why do we do this to our own recruits? Question their integrity without any reason to do so? Does it make you sleep better at night? Is it more a dig at BYU? I don't get it. Doesn't seem to me like it could do any good other than make our fan base look like a bunch of arrogant and ignorant judgment...

Here's a link to their message board on the topic. They're extremely confident that a head coaching job at USU would be quite a step down for Lloyd. http://guboards.spokesmanreview.com/showthread.php?62882-Just-Say-No-Tommy-Lloyd&s=670e197ebe7846741eaadede657a9848 I never thought that I'd find a fa...

Of all the jerseys, could they not have chosen a #42 jersey for Tai? I think the AD should send them a better jersey by which to remember an Aggie legend. The mounted, drooping jersey # may have been his PHS #. Nope. https://bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/heraldextra.com/content/tncms/assets/...

Seriously, can we just let this argument end already? Scott Barnes farted in the elevator on his way out the door and here we all are still pointing blame at each other for the stench he created. Can we all either agree that none of us farted or stand up and say that each of us did so we can move on...
