Re: Falslev in the portal

It seems like Mason has been pretty unhappy with his NIL money. He probably feels like he’s the face of the program with every cache valley kid getting his haircut, and yet he doesn’t get very much money. This seems like his way of forcing everybody’s hand to keep him here, but I do think that he’s...

Re: New Head Coach Contracts

Yeah, this gets talked about all the time. The more I think about it, the less I want it. Just so we can see the best pieces from our last team come back to the spectrum in a different jersey? Just take the buyout money and move on, I say. Doesn't have to be the next year. Give it 3 years when all ...

Re: An unmentioned dark side of NIL

From a high school coach that I know - the NIL money is filtering down to the high school level. If you thought parents of high school athletes were out of control before, wait until there is NIL money on the line for little Johnny and his spot on a team or amount of playing time.

Re: Interesting Blue A Collective Article

Really stinks that putting a great roster together is dependent on fans forking over more money. Many of these fans already fork over money for season tickets, aggies unlimited, traveling to games etc. Now that’s not enough and you have to give more to try and put a top roster together with no guar...

I didn't read the article and apologize if this was covered.

Are donations to a private NIL collective tax deductible in the same way donations to a university are? Are the collectives set up as 501(c)(3)'s?

He could probably get a schollie and some NIL dough somewhere else. No disrespect to Brenchley, but,..... really? It’s a pretty dang smart move if he can go to a smaller school and get an MBA paid for. I don't refute the wisdom in finding a way to fund graduate school. I was just surprised to hear ...

Re: Head Coaches that we should consider

Top Choice: Henderson from South Dakota State would be a good fit. If he could bring a few players with him such as Mayo and Kyle, that would be excellent, although I've got to think Mayo may have some level offers. 2nd: Kowalczyk (Tol): the guy builds winning programs and not just a winning team. ...

This has been done for awhile. Sorry all.

Diana has a good list and money to fund it. There will be a lot of roster turnover but I am optimistic about the program going forward.

Even if every player is gone, they still gave y'all an amazing season and deserve some love. Hell, even folks showed up to the airport when GAs FB team came back from becoming bowl eligible. I have reason to believe Sprinkle is gone and I’m sticking to that. Screw it at this point. If you were a player:

Would you wait around to see who will be the next coach at USU and where you might fit in his plans? Or;

Would you get your name or there right away and find a program that wants you and you know where you fit in?
