End the Gary Andersen Experiment?

Pick an offensive player to blame in a game where the defense gave up 42 points? https://i.postimg.cc/67jFjHwQ/laugh.jpg I agree that Shelley did not lose the game. I don't believe there is a QB in football past or present that would have changed the result. The Defense was atrocious and if they pl...

Re: QB, Talent, Coaching and Circumstances

I do not see us overmatched physically by any team in the MW including Boise. Boise State struck gold when they hired Chris Petersen, they kept him there 8 years. He developed their program. That BSU program is the difference between USU and BSU. Not the players or the current coaches. Maybe GA wil...

The GA team I expected to show up would have been really fired up and would play physical. That was the hallmark of his first stint here. Teams that beat us back then would say sure USU was physically overmatched but flew around and hit people like maniacs. Where is that GA team? We were not physica...

If I was going to point fingers, I'd say coaching. USU wasn't sharp. It was simple execution by Boise. Breakdowns by USU. We weren't overmatched physically. Boise isn't an elite team. They were better prepared and more disciplined. We could be a much better team than we saw against BSU. Or....;........

Re: Reasons For Optimism

I think Jason Shelley will prove he's the best player on the field. Most games are predicted by the QB matchup and I'd take Shelley against anyone right now. Offense tends to come around slower than defense. We won't have that problem because Shelley will move the ball for us. Boise offense should s...

My favorite RB, not saying he was the best or anything, but he was the most impressive that I ever saw. Earl Campbell. I got close enough to touch him during team warm-ups at a Raider game. There is no way you can see him on TV and understand just how physically freakishly he was in person. He looke...

I'm guessing Covid U will NOT get invited to this PAC/MWC cross over conference. Love attending college sports but...IMHO, right now a school campus is probably one of the most dangerous places on earth. I would be scared S-less to go on any campus right now. College age kids horrify me. I'll avoid...

Re: Oct 17th. Aggies better suit up.

First of all the MWC has to decide to play, and with 5 schools in states that do not allow football to be played a vote to play may not be easy to come by, also CSU is having some problem getting going so that is not a slam dunk vote. If play does start I believe it should be played with no fans in...

Ahhhh, it was really nice to watch games yesterday. Nice to have a distraction from the fires, covid and politics. Plus the Raiders won a game on the east coast!

You see Gruden? He's gained some weight during the shutdown.

Re: Ags on 2020 NFL rosters

Galeai has made the Packers practice squad. Now he has a goal to do to Jordan Love in practice what he did to Tanner Mangum! I thought Galeai would end up being our highest draft pick after his big junior season. I figured he'd grow and dominate. Instead, GA? moved him to a different position and h...

Re: Ags on 2020 NFL rosters

Well there isn't much practice news out, but I think Leavitt will stick. Raiders just did cutdowns which Dallin survived. Raiders also cut a guy who played corner and they brought in to play safety. I think people expected him to make the team, and Raider beat writers said that cut and Leavitt being...

This is so overblown it is driving me crazy, the survival rate is just under 99% and if you throw in this age group it is even higher. This is a flu virus, is this going to be the norm going forward? It is a little strange. Teams play strategic games releasing players then re-signing them. On the bright side, I think the Raiders let Dallin Leavitt leave rookie camp unsigned, they called him back, and he ended up on the roster

I love HC, and I thought he would be an impact player for us, I'm sorry to see him go, but after watching Shelley play, I will not condemn GA in any way for signing him. If HC had stayed? Based on game film and experience I'd say Shelley would be the odds on favorite to start. I'm thinking next year...

So Gary tried to bring in another QB in May huh.

One thing that is abundantly clear, Gary did not want to go into this season with HC as his QB.
Sounds like it
GA might have gotten a drift that HC wanted to be a "free agent" during this non-season.
