I hope Smith stays around for at least 4 years. He's an excellent coach, a players coach, and a good guy.

Re: The Duryea effect at BSU?

Boise State has 2 good transfers coming in at SG for next year. 6'4" Bryce Peters from U of Colorado, and 6'7" Emmanuel Akot from U of Arizona who played HS ball at Wasatch Academy. Duryea recruited and offered both while head coach at USU. Both are higher rated than Bereal. That could have somethin...

If thinking that there are good honest coaches out there, a lot of them, who play by the rules, don't buy players, and win, makes me naive, then I'm ok with that.

Re: Petition to Stop Hurd Premium

While I haven’t been to a game in a long time, i was witness to this whole debacle that lead to the whole “downfall” of the student section. To me there were a few causes. 1. The diehards who blazed the trail and were front row of section F (From Tim to Matt to Charley and crew) were all very vocal...

I do know that years ago, when going to games was a bigger thing, it was even included in the announcements in YSA wards that they want the YSA who go to Aggie basketball games to only chant appropriate things. I'm not sure if was just my stake president that asked for it to be announced in our war...

One sure way to p*** off students so they don't attend games is to have a "Premium Pass" that divides the student body by making 500 of them more special than the rest.

I'm fine with the "blue hairs" taking it easy and not jumping up and down like the student do. I'm not interested in seeing 10 old people hauled out of the Spectrum on stretchers every home game. That would make the games like 6 hours long. 2 hours or so is long enough for me. I'm usually hungry aft...

Thanks for that. He doesn't shoot the 3 at all, so since he's 6'5" that'll obviously limit his options in D1, but he's a great athlete with other skills. He dominated that game, and Indian Hills has a number of past and future D1 players on their roster. Anytime a player can do that he's worth at le...

It's a good time to be a good college TE. Most current NFL TEs are ineffective, crippled, past their prime, or some combination of the three. That could help him out.

If we hire Swindlehurst we wouldn't be able to recruit SLCC for 2 years or Utah Basketball AAU Club. NCAA has rules for hiring support staff whom are associated with prospects.
