Re: Odds of making NCAA tournament

A loss to Nevada in the regular season and the tournament would give us 8 total losses, 4 of which came to top 10 teams.

Yeah, he also threw 15-10 St. Mary's up there. Good for us, I suppose, but really? Not sure his line of thinking. He even openly admitted that they lost to Gonzaga by 50 or something and cited close games against LSU and Miss St. as signs of success... St Mary's is actually a top 40-45 team by most...

He already lost one guy from his staff. According to footballscoop, Bouknight is leaving for Oregon to coach receivers. Odd to move for the same position group but I assume Oregon paid him more. Wow! I am somewhat surprised at this but thinking back, wasn't coach Bo one of the last to commit to fol...

It is actually incredible how football literally drug (dragged?) the entire university along with it. Boise might be the 3rd best school in Idaho academically, but probably on par with BY...

It would be kinda dumb to put him on with no hat from the state!! He could have pulled a Porter Gustin and included a Dixie State hat on the table. In hindsight, DSU might have been a better option... yeah all he got out of it was a rose bowl, a cotton bowl, and a projected third round draft pick. ...

I just rewatched the charge and I still think its a charge. The block is really hard to tell if it is goaltending or not. Initially I though it was. After watching it again I don't know. SDSU won fair and square. Lets get them when they come to Logan. They were definitely not “easy” calls. What I g...

He would've been a better addition to this team than Ainge and Fakira. Setting an awfully high bar there. :sarcasm: I wouldn't bag on the true freshman with good size. Give him a year or two to develop before we declare him a bust. If he was already polished, he likely wouldn't be playing at USU. A...

The U made a run to the championship game of the NIT last year, and now they are a mediocre team in a historically bad year for their conference.

In other words, take the NCAA every single time.

I think he's moved from starter to 3rd on the depth chart. Abel is clearly our best option, and it sounds like TK is performing better in practice.

I don't think the rankings are worthless. I think a lot of time is put in to evaluate all of the players. However, I think there is bias by the evaluators based on what schools are recruiting a kids. There are also just so many high school athletes, some are bound to slip through the cracks.

I was just looking at the schedule. The game Saturday is our biggest game till the season finale with Nevada.
