Re: Our NCAA Tourney struggles

Great question: 2003 vs. Kansas (2-15) - We were down by 4 at half. Went back and forth with the runner up that year. If Ross and Butler shoot better than 25% (5-20) we win. Kansas wins 64-61 2005 vs. Arizona (3-14) - Up 3 at the half. We didn't shoot very well but were serviceable. Arizona came ou...

Re: Our NCAA Tourney struggles

The game USU should have won is the one against Kansas State. You had a senior led team with a pg that had a very strong year. Team came out shell shocked. It was Kansas in 2002 or 2003. They made it to the national championship. Desmond Penigar had a 3 to tie it at the buzzer but missed. Sent from...

Lol If any Aggie fans went to the SDSU board last year to brag about our conference or tournament title you should be disowned. This is so pathetic it’s laughable.

Dagger. I'm pretty sure the neighbors heard my scream. Just seeing that shot doesn't put the correct perspective on how big it was. I think we misplayed the previous 2-3 possessions. Things didn't look like they were going to go our way. Like posted above CSU had all the momentum. It was just an in...

Kuba?

Either way if we get Kuba back to full strength it will add a massive amount of depth to our center position. Quetta getting in foul trouble won’t hurt nearly as bad. Kuba is good. I was very much wondering why he wasn’t playing. Super happy to hear he wasn’t in the dog house or had stopped trying a...

It was tense and spectrum magic def added to that. Boises bench looked up to our student section in F every time they scored.

Re: How Ugly was this game?

Would have helped if Merrill didn’t have to sit for almost half the game. What could have been a pretty special night for him was taken away by the refs. Or we could have put Merrill back in much earlier in the 2nd half instead of guaranteeing that he wouldn't get much playing time. I never underst...

Like others have said they were just way more athletic than us. Helped to slow them down. It was a great coaching move and won us the game. They were scoring at will before it.

I don't care about this right now. Smith and our boys won't lose to the techs thrice in a row. Just play your best ball at tourney time and win the tourney. We have talent to do that and even win a first round game. We ALWAYS play better without a target on our back. If an at large bid for this tea...

The only thing that makes it hard is that Florida and LSU are tearing up the SEC right now. If they had both been busts it would be no question.

A conference mate as a number one seed and two wins over top SEC teams. Never would have thought we’d even be on the bubble. Unlv hurt and Air Force hurt but together they destroyed us.

Pretty good to finish that close to Jaycee considering the amount of assists he’ll end up with and he spent two years with Duryea as the HC.
