There have been a lot of coaches fans have pined for. There was hardly a consensus that Tim Miles was the preferred candidate. Everybody has a different favorite.

Re: Tod Kowalczyk - Announcement on Tuesday

I guess in a way, with Toledo Tod being older might be a good thing. He probably won't have one foot out the door the same way a 40 year old does.

Re: For those who are freaking out about Kowalczyk

I'm going to hold off judging on this occasion especially since USU hit three straight times. I didn't think the last three coaches would be as successful as they were. Craig Smith coached South Dakota and never coached an NCAA tournament game before he came here. Odom coached one which was a more ...

I'm confused why people were excited about Simon, who also has zero tournament appearances, and less wins over a shorter career than Kowalcyzk. I, for one, think that this is a fantastic hire. You shouldn't be confused. People have given their reasons a hundred times, you just don't like them. No, ...

Re: For those who are freaking out about Kowalczyk

Aggie fans are bipolar. Either we are down in the dumps or we think we Coach K (from Duke) would come out of retirement to coach us. Man has a great track record. Maybe better than any of the last 3 coaches who came here. Let's see how he does. Not Coach K, but someone better than this Toledo coach...

Re: Kowalczyk - Toledo

Who cares if a coach makes a lateral move to VCU as long as they JFW while they are here? Find a coach will JFW. Period. Nothing else matters. In the real world, you will never have two coaches who are equally likely to succeed. Hire the coach who will JFW. End of story. Whether or not they want to...

Kowalczyk from what i’ve heard is a done deal unless something changes. Was done before Sprinkle left. Expect most of current roster to enter portal including Mason Falslev. GA 2.0 Ard Odom (strange Hire) Blake - Seemed to be a home run hire but time is showing us something different. Appreciation post for Aggies22 here! I love his posts and insights, especially when it comes to supporting BA and his staff. I will say he missed on two occasions 1. Smith to Utah and 2. Sprinks to UW. I was looking forward to seeing Pope in purple. While it's a bummer, I think it suggests these si...

College athletics are becoming dead to me. Forget the years where Cinderella could crash the party because small sc...

Why is everyone so mad about Todd? Because he has won... a lot. But, but ... he didn't win in a crapshoot of a tournament. I don't get it. You answered your own question. And, he doesn’t have any connections to Utah and would be more likely to leave than Simon would. Hope that helps. Sent from my i...

They all have agents who do the negotiating. I think our buyout conditions are consistent with other schools in our category. Hear me out, I think we should pick our top 3-4 favorites and as long as they are all equally qualified and we would be essentially splitting hairs, why not go with who would agree to the highest buyout and also agree to a game in the spectrum on their new team ? Let’s be real, a 5 million buyout wo...
