Re: Lesson For Next Year's Spring Practice

I would imagine the main difficulty, here is at QB? We basically would just run the full scrimmage with Petras and Pig Farmer, and don't want to risk injury to Petras?
I think we still run 3-4 guys deep at every other position.

Wow, this sucks. Reminds me a bit of GA 2.0's debacle brining in Jason Shelley. RIP QB room. Colombi was substantially better than Legas though How does one arrive at that conclusion? Cooper Legas' QB rating last year was not only significantly higher than Colombi's ever was at any point in his car...

Looks like we won't be getting any talent from Orem anytime soon. That's a far worse move for that coach. Utah State not taking (or being "allowed" to take) Orem players will hurt Orem players far more than it'll hurt Utah State. There are lots of high schools in Utah. There are 3 FBS programs in U...

EJ Fisk came from a JC, and would be eligible to transfer.
Didn't we get Spires from Bowling Green and Mells from Oregon? Haven't they already used their 1 transfer?

Any chance we could get a d-line or linebacker coach from Iowa? i would prefer we hire a person who has had previous experience as a DC. I don't want someone who is getting their first shot at being a DC. Let’s get a guy who’s been DC at two or three G5’s and maybe a high end FCS recently. .......m...

While I certainly would not argue that Cooper can sling it like Jordan Love or even Logan Bonner...... Had he started each game this year, Cooper could be sitting with around: 3,000 yards, 25-30 TDs, 60%+ completion percentage - at this point in the season. **Disclaimer - I do think that pulling Coo...

Blake Anderson is losing the locker room. Several players are upset with his handling of Cooper Legas and much of the team finds it distasteful that he has continuously called Legas out specifically and by name to the media.

I think he made enough poor decisions, tonight, that Blake isn’t even really thinking there’s a decision to make. Coop could have easily thrown 5/6 picks tonight, if Fresno’s defense could have come down with them. Some really poor decision making and/or lack of skill on placement for several throws...

Seems 100% on bad coaching, to me. It's been a staple of Blake/his staff in his 3 seasons, here. There's been enough turnover and difference in personnel on the field in each of those 3 seasons, that the only common denominator is coaching. As has been said, Blake has specifically mentioned calling ...
