Not a bad schedule but I’d prefer not to play Provo immediately after Boise. Swap the Boise and Hawaii (or CSU) games and I d be happy.

Re: Super Seniors
I'll take a stab at these 17 and then Aggies 22 can correct me: 1-Bowling 2-Mayberry 3-Rice 4-Lee 5-Bond 6-Scarver 7-Nathan 8-Wright 9-Meitz 10-Bannerman 11-Aliifua 12-Pada (replace with Carter) 13-Terrell 14-Fata 15-DHC 16-Heninger 17-Moore That's a pretty talented list to be honest. Lots of contr...

Oh I don’t know an increase of $700k like you say might not entirely change your lifestyle but it could greatly impact your kids and their kids lifestyles in the future. Think about what Matt Wells will do with his $18 million from tech. Agreed. 700 K to over 2.2 million(what Minnesota is paying Ri...

Re: Super Seniors
Nice topic and stats, thanks for sharing. Even at 17 we would be like the second most super seniors in the country behind Florida Atlantic with 18. For contrast, BYU only has 1 super senior and Utah has 11. This kinda makes sense as BYU played pretty much a full season and Utah hardly played any gam...

Re: Net Rankings
So if we win out and CSU loses at Reno and SDSU loses at Vegas, wouldn’t we get the 1 seed as we have the tie breaker over them? Not out of the realm of possibilities that the Rebs could pull the upset.

Lobos looking for a coach
Steve Prohm at Iowa State will likely be available here shortly. He’s had some good years at ISU and put lots of guys into the league and also has a winning record in the NCAA tourney. He coached some outstanding teams at Murray State before that. He may be a decent fit at UNM. I think it’d be hard ...

Re: I believe that Liam Mchesney
He didn't get a lot of minutes early this season before his injury but we saw enough to know he has a good skill set, athleticism, and is very long. After being out of action for so long, it will take him some time to get his groove, but once he does, he will be a difference maker. I'd like to see h...

Re: USU favored by 8 over Nevada
Sherfield and Cambridge are going to be a tall task to keep contained. With Queta roaming the paint I think both those guards we be settling for the long ball. They are both decent shooters (Sherfield more so than Cambridge) but the odds are against them shooting high percentage at the spectrum. I ...

Re: Boise @ SDSU who do we root against?
Is it just me or does anyone else agree that CSU is the weakest of the top 4 teams. I know they snagged one from us in Logan but I thought they were the most beatable of the top teams. Nevada might even be better now. It’s a travesty that CSU avoids their second game in Reno. The home and away game...

Re: Makeup games scheduled
Biggest thing I see is that CSU-Nevada will only play once. That's a travesty imo and not fair to the other teams in contention for the conference title. Like we need CSU to make up their home game against UNM. I thought UNM basically packed it in.

Regardless of the line up, someone besides Queta needed to step up. No one did. BSU’s strategy worked. Don’t double down on Queta and let someone not named Queta try to beat you. We couldn’t. They denied our 3-pointers. The score may have been worse but Queta hit 8 of 9 FTs which was uncharacterist...

My spirit animal is probably a honey bee. So in light of the new football coaching staff revealing what their Spirit Animal is, thought we better do the same. Ok Aggie fans, name your Spirit Animal and why. I’m also in the camp of playing Fonz and Bean together some. Starting Rollie and bringing Ashworths energy off the bench would have helped as well. If Rollie is back by tourney time, I hope we play the Donks in the MW tourney. They are not good away from home. They’ll likely lose both games against ...

So Boise State decided to throw a massive fit about how mean USU is for not accommodating their absurd last-minute request to move one of the games to Nampa, when in reality they could have fans at home all along, just not *as many*. I'm so sick of the Boise entitlement. It stems from football and ...

Not having Rollie hurts. To be honest I thought we should have played Bairstow more tonight. He was aggressive and a scoring threat, which we were lacking other than Queta and Marco.

Re: Craig Smith and his extension random thoughts
The problem with basketball in sunny and warm locations is that there are often more competition for people's time/money. More things people can get out and do. Trust me, there isn't much to do in the winter in the upper midwest. People live for going to watch athletics such as basketball/hockey. I ...

Lots of basketball left. Things will get very interesting over the next few weeks. We’ll likely lose one or two as does Boise. ...

Re: Sam in the G League
There is a LOT of selfish play in the G League. Not a lot of team ball to be seen. Also, I don't like the free throw rules in the G League. All shooting fouls are only 1 free throw and, if you make it, you get either 2 or 3 points depending on where the shooting foul happened. Serious!!? Wow, didn’...

Hoping for a Nevada win in one of those. Again it is important for us not to get the 4 seed so we can stay away from playing Nevada in quarterfinals. I’d also prefer not to play UNLV in their arena either, even if there aren’t any fans. We dropped one to them already. Nevada will be a handful as we...

CSU/Wyo game last night was equally as close. Too bad the Pokes couldn’t pull it off. The Lambies are our biggest threat in my mind. Yeah we shouldn't be taking Wyoming lightly next week. That team could score. I would say a tough road still lies ahead. Wyoming and Nevada are going to be tough outs...
