Re: Utes

Utah’s secondary looked as helpless against the USC receivers as ours did against Wake. USC’s third string QB was just chucking up jump balls all over and letting their uber talented wide outs make a play.

Re: AF crushing Bronco QB

In typical Boise fashion they had an extremely lucky catch to keep their scoring drive alive after the AF failed 4th down attempt. AF very nearly got the ball back without giving up any points there. I still think going for it was the right call at the time ... but hindsight is 20-20 and it’s easy t...

Re: AF crushing Bronco QB

Game turned on stupid decision to go for it on 4th on 1 at midfield with 13 minutes left. All downhill from there. Punt the damn ball. Way too risky at that location on the field with that much time. I think it was a good call to go for it, but they sure didn’t execute the play well. They’d been av...

Re: SDSU Critical to Win?

I think our Oline is well suited to handle the somewhat smaller but fast defensive line that SDSU will throw out there, especially in pass protection. This Oline group seems to be more long and athletic than some others we’ve had in the past. On the other side of the ball I’m still a bit worried if ...

Count me in as a fan of tonight’s alternate uni’s. Those are dope. They should change their primary logo though. That wave thingy is atrocious and a total joke. I laughed and mocked out loud the first time I saw it.

Re: Secondary injuries...

At least I don’t think SDSU is equipped to really challenge our corners a whole lot. Sure they say they run a spread now but so think they just do that to open things up for their running game. TBH I like our chances on Saturday.

Re: Secondary injuries...

I’m assuming the coaching staff has been waiting to unveil some new defensive looks until this game. From my understanding Ena loves to blitz and get after the qb, which we haven’t seen much in the first two games. Wake did that delayed RPO thingy so we probably didn’t get very exotic in that game.....

Early SI Bowl Projections

I see 1 maybe 2 MW teams being bowl eligible but not get a bowl invite. It will stink if we win 6 or 7 games and get left at home. Currently I see it being Nevada and maybe Wyoming, but Wyoming suffered that fate last year I believe so I doubt they get left out again if they are bowl eligible. We be...

Of note, he has Florida as a 2 seed and LSU as a 9 seed. This would indicate that we are predicted to get a higher seed than everyone on our schedule except for Florida.

Way Too Early Bowl Prediction

We aren’t going to the Hawaii bowl and we’ve been to the Arizona and NM bowl recently. Pretty sure MAC will not be displaced from Potato, thus I think that’s where we’ll end up unless we get a Cheese-It bowl invite to play Texas Tech.

Re: Way Too Early Bowl Prediction

Win conference = Las Vegas vs Pac12

Win Division but lose CCG OR Second in division with 9 wins & BSU goes NY6 = Armed Forces vs Big10

Any other scenario = Potato Bowl vs MAC

Re: Concede the Touchdown

I was thinking along the same line that we should have let them score so we’d have more time, but then changed my mind once we stuffed them 3 straight times. It was one pass play away from being the goal stand of all goal stands in Aggie history. I’ve changed my mind now and think it was the right t...

Re: Nice Highlight reel

I agree, those int’s were not pretty. Nathan has his defender beat and had lots of room in the back corner of the end zone if Love drops it back there. Also, I think that last pick was intended for Repp and not Bright. Bright would have been the easier pass but for a shorter gain. Repp was open too ...

Re: Love’s Throwing Motion

I thought one of this picks was also partially on the receiver. The receiver didn’t come back to the ball on the one. On the other two, it seemed like Love may have gotten a tad greedy and/or over confident in either his or his receivers ability. Gotta know that you can’t take that risk in the last ...

They so poo poo

I think that is one of the most hilarious comments I’ve ever heard in a post game press conference. I could swear I heard a similar remark in kindergarten .... except for the “you can tweet that” part. That’s a classic. Can’t see J-Love making such a remark.

Re: Exclusive Q&A with Wake Forest 247sports publisher Les Johns

Thanks for doing that! Great read. I get the feeling that Wake fans and followers are really high on their team this year. I think this game is our 3rd or 4th most likely game to lose. Not that we will lose, but it will be an uphill battle for us considering the level of difficulty of playing the fi...

I don’t anticipate having near as many blow outs this season and Love won’t sit out as many quarters, but I do anticipate we’ll see Columbi a number of times, maybe even some meaningful minutes. With an inexperienced Oline Love will take a bit more punishment and could be dinged up a bit here and th...

Wake played at a higher tempo than we did last year so I don’t think our tempo will cause many problems for them. I think it will come down to who controls the line of scrimmage, who wins the TO battle, and special teams play. I think the biggest advantage the Aggies have based on last years statist...

Re: What Type of #’s Does J. Love Need to be Called Successful Against Wake?

What would it take for a disappointment? The ceiling is high and I am curious as to where everyone has their marks set on this year? Ok I’ll play along. I think JLove will need at least 65% completion with no more than 1 interception. He’ll need to throw for at least 225 yards and 2 TD passes and t...
