Oct 17th. Aggies better suit up.

Does the fact that the west coast is burning as we speak play into the PAC12 decision at all. Air quality alone may prohibit playing. I know a month is a ways away but is there reason to believe the fires will be under control by then? Or that Utah, Idaho, Wyo, Arizona, and Colorado may not be ablaz...

Virginia vs VT was also postponed. Word is ACC is struggling with COVID too and rumors of teams possibly dropping out. ACC said as long as they have 8 teams that remain viable they will continue to have a season though.

Seems odd that all the teams in the mountain and pacific region have cancelled fall football except for the Kitties. So what is it that the MWC is concerned about that BYU isn’t?

Would be nice if Max and Zahar can get to Logan in time to complete quarantine before school starts.
Any chance Zahar can bring along enough doses of Putin's secret vaccine elixir for the whole team?

YBU is our first game of the season, will it happen?

You have to think we could get another game considering the AAC, CUSA, and Sun Belt are all allowing a full 4 non-conference game schedule. Those teams had lost all their P5 games so I’d think there should be plenty of teams looking to fill in holes. Also, could we play another MWC team as a non-Con...

Re: Looks like our schedule is set

I’m hoping we elect to schedule another home game for Sept 26th and not reschedule SUU for later in the season as I hate to wait until October 10th to play our first home game. I see Idaho has an open date on the 26th. I wouldn’t mind playing them or another regional FCS team. I also wouldn’t mind s...

Personally I think the returning players will take the majority of the minutes, at least out of the gate. I don’t see many of the first year players getting big minutes until they earn Coach Smith’s trust in meaningful games (aka play defense and don’t turn the ball over). Most of you have Miller do...

Pretty impressed by Hadnot’s highlights. Playmaker on both sides of the ball. Not the biggest receiver (5’11”) but plays very physical and doesn’t shy from contact or blocking.

I hope we keep the current logo set for a long time. The timing of the last change was good because we changed right before our football team became good and we got some great visibility since then. Maybe they are a house divided. Does Mrs Damuni have allegiances to YBU (graduate from there perhaps)? Could very well be that most of the extended family (uncles, aunts,cousins...) are from the dark side too. We all know how persuasive cool uncles can be at the age when dad is a nag.

Jason Shelley’s Skill Set

JS has the ability to really extend a play. When that happens the defense gets out of position and leads to more open space and open receivers. I like how he keeps his head up because if he can hit someone like Devin Thompkins in an open space while the defense is scrambling to contain him, good thi...

Jason Shelley’s Skill Set

It seems that a lot of folks on this board are labeling JS as a dual threat quarter back who’s strength is running (aka not such a great passer). After watching his high school senior highlights I am impressed by a few things: - He is a pass first qb who keeps his head up when the protection breaks ...

Yeah, I’m not sure what HC was thinking. I can’t imagine there are many P5 programs that would just hand the reins over to a back-up qb from an average G5 team. I’d think most decent P5 programs have good talent in their qb room so he’d need to compete for a starting spot where ever he went. I could...
