Re: Euro U20: Queta Watch

In terms of competition where would this fall? Would it be compared to like Big Sky type of competition or a little higher up? I know these are the national teams under 20 teams, but am just not up to speed about what kind of competition level that is.

It's awesome your wife is such a huge fan. My wife could care less about sports although she does attend the games. She does give me complete freedom to enjoy my sports. I go to all the home games and schedule at least one away game a year to attend as well as bowl games. I am so thankful she gives ...

Similar to last year in basketball I really want the victory in football against SDSU. 4 years ago was so deflating getting taken to the wood shed after the boise victory the week prior. I have no clue what to expect this from SDSU. Last year they were very hot beating Boise, but then cold also with...

This will be a great game. I wish it was in Logan this year as that would be an awesome atmosphere. Still a good opportunity to get a quality Tier 2 or possibly Tier 1 victory on the road against a good opponent. St. Mary's should be really good, but I expect us to hopefully be better as well.

I love football, but am no expert. How do the experts on this board think the D-line will perform? Are we thinking it will be better than last year's or similars? If the O-line does not need Uasike is there any chance he goes back to D-line to help?

Wells did not do the best job of recruiting Utah especially skill positions in the state. I realize the state is not flush with great skill position players, but you have to make an effort. There is no reason Cooper and Hunter should not have been offered a year earlier.

I have both west side tickets and SE endzone tickets. Chair back seats are really nice. If you can afford go with the west side, but if you cannot just get season tickets anywhere in the stadium to support the program.

Aggie Football Youth Clinic

Just an FYI on the front page of forum in the twitter posts there is a link for a free youth football clinic. It is on 8/1. Kids get to go through drills with the coaches and tour the facilities as well as have a Q&A with some football players. I signed my kids up. Sounds like it is limited to 200 k...

Re: When youth sports gets nasty

Just go to the games and enjoy watching your kid compete. If their is a bad call so be it just let it play out. One thing I see is parents criticizing the coaches over playing time and the refs over bad calls. I have to come to realize the odds of my kids ever making it to college is slim to none an...

Re: I'm still worried about our WRs

I think our WR's will be solid. To me the biggest question mark will be if our OL can make holes for our running backs. If we can run the ball well we should do fine at WR. I think Nathan will be our leading receiver. I expect Mariner to have the type of year Tarver did last year. Thompkins should f...

Just depends on what you want to do. When we went to Wake Forest we flew into Raleigh. We spent a day at the beach (topsail beach) which was 2.5 hours away which was fantastic. We then toured the NC State, Duke and NC campuses the morning of the game before traveling to the game. Travel to Winston S...

I get the logic not wanting to do a home/home every year with USU in addition to BYU. That being said if you are going to do series with NIU, SJSU, FSU, and WYO you have room to put the Aggies in one of those spots every 5 or so years. Basketball there is no logic behind i

Depending on how the new player additions pan out would I be wrong and saying this upcoming team has the potential to be the best in the last 35 years. I say 35 years as I was not around before that. This team should have a huge preseason bulls eye on their back. I am super excited.

Listening today, Scotty mentioned that they are allowing fans to also vote on their secreted choices of the top 60 players. It sounded like they have the list and now fans can have a vote on where the players should be seeded. I think you can just go to the zone website to vote for the player seeding.

Re: Who are you playing OOC this season?

There is really no logic behind Utah being unwilling to schedule USU. Basketball is so much different than football. There are ~13 OOC games per year. That game would draw huge at USU and I think the U fan base would be interested. It is cheap travel for both teams. Seems obvious to me.

Maybe i am in the minority, but I think his contract is right about where it should be. He doubled his salary from his South Dakota job. He had a great year which is what he was paid to do. I think a modest salary increase and maybe 1 year extension in contract length would be in order. Now if he co...

Great to see him come back because he wanted to. I have never been in the spotlight, but playing collegiate/professional sports you are in the spotlight which will come a lot of unwanted judging. I myself try not to judge as heaven knows I have plenty of issues and am no where near perfect.
