Re: Transfer Portal Palooza (Spring ball edition)

Coaching, in the era of unlimited transfers and NIL conflicts is simply not a business I would choose to go into. These guys all have to be ready to pull their hair out. As a fan of a G5 program, what am I supposed to get excited about? Every G5 kid that shows any promise as an under-classman an is...

Re: Legas…gone

We wonder why coaches aren't loyal. Guy won us our first MWC Title and after two bowl eligible seasons we want him out the door. How long does he get to skate by on the MWC title? I'm not saying fire him, but I'd love to know if these players are solely leaving for more money (not much you can do a...

Re: Schedule updates

Ultimately the Aggies are not going to get very many high profile games in Logan. We will occasionally get some but a lot teams will not want to go to Logan. I don't want to see any NAIA or D2 schools scheduled unless just an exhibition.

Re: Transfer Portal Palooza (Spring ball edition)

It is interesting that Paul would transfer when he played first string most of last year and from spring reports it sounds like he was first string as well. It certainly does not sound like it was going to be playing time thing he would want to transfer for. Maybe he is wanting more NIL, who knows.

Are they doing recent grad discounts in the south end zone and east side? I can see them not offering on the west side as those are all big blue donation seats but could for sure see them offering in the south and east sides.

Be interesting to see how his experience translates to college with NIL and high school recruiting. IN the NBA the GM and head coach do that. He is a good X's and O's coach but has very limited experience in recruiting.

I would rather have Great, I don't know much about the guy from Stetson. I just think it's weird that he isn't bringing anyone with him. Maybe it's because all of his best players were seniors? Perhaps the jump from Youngstown State and the Atlantic Sun Conference is too big going to Utah State and...

Dallin would be great as an Aggie. If you land him, say goodbye to Ian and Josh so no thanks. Would you take Hall or a slim chance at Ian and a good chance at Josh? I want both Josh and Ian to both decide to stay. All either of them have to do is to stay that they are going to stay. Calhoun on the ...

Re: Hillstead Transferring

I’m still not sure why the staff did what they did with the QBs this off season. Bringing in a grad transfer made little sense given that we have a senior starter and a sophomore with a lot of experience. Yet we brought in two grad transfers who had a lot of experience but don’t fit our style of of...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball

I would love to have both Ian and Josh return. I actually think there is plenty of time between Ian, Mason and Josh. Realistically those three would take care of two positions for the game. If you split them evenly it's about 26 and 1/2 minutes. If there is a choice between the two I would probably ...

He had a higher ceiling than Legas. His highs last year were much much higher than Legas’ was. After he got hurt behind a piss poor offensive line he wasn’t the same. Really unfortunate. 48/36/75
Splits
He was developing during his D1 season.
He only shot 55 threes the whole season and made 20 of them. Didn't rely on the 3 at all. Overall solid shooter.

We currently have 4 or 5 schollies to give. I think you will see us try and take one or two offensive linemen and a wide receiver.
How many players do you think will enter the portal post spring ball, either for lack of perceived playing time or a better opportunity?
