Re: Sprinkle's (possible) replacements

Not a word about this over on cougarboard. Doesn't mean it's not brewing in the background, but I'm a little skeptical that we would know something here before anyone over there says anything at all.

Help thou mine unbelief, 22.

The new stadium at Utah Tech is nice. Would be a fun bowl venue, I agree. Arguably at least as desirable as Albuquerque.

Toughest guy on the field. My lasting memory of Bonner will be him standing in the pocket, taking hit after hit, and still delivering STRIKES to Thompkins. What an unstoppable duo.

Of course they had weaknesses, but they were 2 of the starters on a very good USU team. Saying they won’t do well in the P12 makes it sound like USU would get destroyed by P12 teams. It also means that SDSU, CSU, Nevada guards must be bad in comparison to P12 guards. We’re essentially ripping on ou...

73-47 Aggies Brock Miller makes fools of all the doubters by going 9-11 from 3. It opens up the inside for Queta to dominate the offensive boards, leading to tons of second chances. Marco feels right at home in the Big Dance and drops 18 pts w/ 4 3s. We are the talk of the night, and all the analyst...

Laramie's not so bad. I went to the game there in 2016 and was very impressed with Josh Allen...that guy destroyed us. The stadium is actually pretty cool, with the tall pines all around. I’m thinking something like the following: * If Mangum hadn’t thrown the early pick-6, this is a whole different game. * Squally Canada was hurt. * We were beat up from playing all those P5 schools. * You guys were coming off a bye week. * 1984! * Had we played Wilson all game, we would have won. The TL;DR version: BYU-Provo thinks it is much more significant than it actually is, and there are many things that get under its fans' skin. Also, their national brand is diminishing.

About the BYU/USU game: a few things that make me happy

I think we probably get beat today, although I'm hoping for a miracle. Regardless, here are a few things that make me happy: 1) "BYU-Provo". Try using that phrase more often. It really irritates them. 2) BYU-Provo to the Big 12! That was hilarious. Poor Cougars and their inflated self perception. It...
