https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/why-extra-eligibility-for-spring-college-athletes-is-not-a-slam-dunk-as-ncaa-prepares-to-vote/ I know we are pretty close to unanimous that even our Seniors could return, we know they wouldn't or shouldn't. Re: Recruiting

According to Verbal Commits, there are 133 players who have entered the transfer portal that are immediately eligible. Out of those 133 there are only 4 that I would consider to have not made a lateral move or moved down like to DII. I think we're overworking the idea that guys that are dreaming are...

Re: Recruiting

I'm hoping that Anthony is the guy, but if he isn't we are in dire need of someone to pick up Sam's ability to defend other teams top offensive threats. As we look at the prospects among the transfers, all we have is offensive numbers and have no idea if they can defend grandma in a wheel chair. Als...

Over half, 188 to be exact , of the teams were already officially out, when play stopped. Add to that there were 10 one bid leagues that were still at or barely past quarter finals in their tourneys. Sure, the Chicago Sts. were still alive, but no realistic chance of advancing.

Agree there is potential in the names you listed. Bean in particular is really not what I consider to be someone who will boost assists. His game is cleaning up misses. Not trying to be negative, but I really am concerned about our lack of really strong offensive players.

Re: Recruiting

The influx of players into the transfer portal is astounding. There's definitely going to be players without homes for next season. Combined with the inability of coaches to meet with these players in person and see them workout is going to make for an interesting situation. Coaching staffs who rea...

In case anyone is interested The Athletic is offering a one day offer of 1/2 price for one year subscription. Of course, if you fail to cancel at the end of year your sub will go back to regular price of $60/yr.

OK...maybe bad characterization, but there are so many variables as to why kids go where they go. Re: Onto recruiting season

Since Nebraska moved into the PBA they've been in the top 15 nationally in attendance every year. 2018-19 they were #10 with an average attendance of 15,341. Granted, it is a football school, but they are starved for a winning basketball program. As far as a Husker fan being interested in USU, that ...

Nebraska had only one returnee that played significant minutes last year. They ended up recruiting two football players to complete their roster for the BIG tourney. Hoiberg is a good coach. They will get better, but whether they rise to top of BIG is yet to be seen. I don't blame a kid for wanting ...

2019-20: Season of adversity

How the coaching staff and players handled the past year is just a testament to who and what they are. Think back a year ago and immediately after the loss to UW, there was the Queta question. Will he be back or not? He's back! No he's hurt! How long? We don't know. From day 1 of practices, there wa...

Rollie Worster's Hellgate team defeaated Billings West 48-34 in state semis. Rollie has 23 pts. Hellgate also has a 6'8" PF that is committed to Army. With that 1-2 punch it's now wonder Hellgate is dominating Montana hoops.

I really hope Sam Diogo St. does get the #1 seed. In the East region. That would greatly increase our hopes of going to Spokane or Sacramento. Gonzaga just has to win tonight to lock up the #1 west seed. After that happens sdsu will be a #1 or #2 seed in a different region. All the other conference ...
