Re: Prophecy
On the Mountain West conference webpage the schedule now show’s Thursday game against Wyoming is cancelled. Anyone know why? Really strange. Both teams play Saturday and neither of those games are listed as canceled. Maybe coming to Logan is still a bad idea for Wyoming's mental health? Even strang...

The whole evening of watching BSU, Calipari and Duke seeing the tourney chances go further down was glorious.FL350Aggie wrote: ↑Yesterday, 8:07 amTheir loss has been the highlight of my week. It’s been absolutely glorious watching their pitiful reactions and blaming the MWC.

Leon's recruiting pitch must go something like "Come and be a Bronco where everyone gets to play hero ball!"

What a horrible last possession! Is that the best Leon and Timmy could come up with?

Re: Fresno State up by 6 at the half against Boise State.
Well, we really don’t want Fresno to all of the sudden gain tons of confidence right before we play them. I don’t want a blow out or a victory for Fresno. I want BSU to win by ~10pts. Just a normal loss. Nothing to get excited over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Correct me if I'm wrong, but if...

Re: Queta
I've been happy about how he's been able to log as many minutes as he has and still stay active. The little windows that Dorius provides helps a lot. I've noticed a lot of times Smith brings Dorius in a bit before a media time-out, which gives extra time for Queta to recharge. He gets 8 to 10 minute...

Re: I believe that Shulga will become a starter next season
Who cares who starts? If the glimpse we got of Max this weekend is the real deal, then I envision him a really valuable guy to have come in on the first rotation. He could become a better version of Brito. OP's original suggestion of being a starter isn't likely if everyone returns healthy, but he l...

I never have anything to pat myself on the back for but I did observe that for a split second Shulga was thinking about a dunk but at the last moment decided to play it safe. Only to catch a bunch of crap when he went to the bench. BTW...I thought Marco was outstanding last night. He played great D ...

I would love any postseason option this year. I think short of winning the MWC tourney or making it to the final we will be fortunate to get into either NCAA or NIT. I think you are right this year. If we don't win the auto bid I'm not sure we see any post season tournament. NIT wants hats in the m...

Or is it just me. When I try to access the home page or Aggie page, I get a privacy error. Going further I get a message saying the security certificate has expired in the last day. Thanks in advance!

To me, using Linder's comment as an arrow to project the "using Covid as an excuse not to go to Logan and get whipped" doesn't make any sense. First year coach that has the program on a upward trajectory, with lots of young players that benefit from gaining experience of playing and playing on the r...

Re: Max number of tournament teams down to 10?
I actually believe that Weir is a decent coach, but he's done a poor job of building the program and has had some pretty awful luck along the way. He spent a bit too much time going after kids who had stars by their names that didn't work out elsewhere, just to discover there was a reason they didn...

Re: Great win!
Great job by the Aggies last night. From a bout the 8 minute mark in the first half onward the offense was really clicking . I liked how Queta was so much more decisive last game rather than letting Diong have time to set his defense. Rollie was just flat out awesome last night. He has been struggl...

Re: Man, what a difference a week makes
The lack of ball movement and standing around by our players on O is painful to watch. We used to whip it around and everyone touched the ball at least once. This was more like the games in SD when we played hero ball and watched Anthony force drives every other possession. Having Anthony lead us i...

Re: Dropped to 48 in the NET
THIS is why the NCAA needs to make the NET rating transparent. If we could see the formula we could figure out why the NET is over-valuing Colgate, and why SDSU moved up 10 spots by blowing out Air Force twice while their OOC opponents moved down in NET this week. You didn't hear? Conspiracy theori...

Since SDSU beat UCLA they would have probably moved up even more had not UCLA lost a last second buzzer beater on an out of bounds play to Stanford Saturday.

I would how many of these are in conference tourneys with a high seed, for instance USU vs a bottom seed San Jose St? Probably a much lower % with teams the caliber of USU-SDSU.

I never got to see him play, but I had the opportunity to visit the baseball Hall of Fame a couple of years ago. There was a lot of cool Hank Aaron memorabilia there. He was one of the greatest to ever play, and he experienced a lot of hard things along the way. By the way, I highly recommend a tri...

I don't understand why we're in the midst of a double digit winning streak, on top of the league, and have a team that is super enjoyable to watch, why a freshman leaving that is opening up a scholarship somehow dregs up negatives about recruiting? I'm enjoying everything about this team and this pr...

IMO those hoping or counting on Zapala to be any kind of consistent contributor are going to be very disappointed. That includes Smith then cause in his own words Zapala “is going to be a star”. Smith has made a living off of recognizing potential and then maximizing it. I'm going to side with Coac...

How does Gonzaga do it? I’ve spent a lot of time in their campus and work with some of their faculty, but can’t figure out how they are so good at keeping Few. IMO, Logan is a far nicer city than Spokane. further, we have a nicer campus. First off, it's the only game in town. The nearest pro franch...

If, and I think he will, Queta leaves, I don't feel confident that Zapala will be ready to carry the load and Dorius is adequate as a backup D1 post. So that leaves us with needing a (insert drum roll) a i r c r a f t c a r r i e r.
