Re: Updated 2019 Fall Roster
Nope. Mr. Wells is just fine where he is at. Just think it's crazy how many players are leaving when GA is such a player's coach. It's not like most of these guys could even be replaced at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's has more to do with the nature of collegiate athletics the...

Re: Phil Steele usu preview
I mean, unless I missed a part that he projected our team to lose a lot of games everything he said seems fair. I do agree that his starting lineup isn't all that great. I think that will be a lot different after fall camp. Basically what he said was, "they lost a ton of players and play a harder s...

Re: Athlon QB rankings list released
I think this is fair. If Jordan Love would have played more than the first half of the games last year he would be rated higher. Hopefully he can showcase his talents against better teams this year. By the end of the year I think everyone will have him in their top 5. As for BYU's recovering-from-su...

Re: Can anyone say top 15????
If we go undefeated that would make us the NCAA Champions. I don't care what they rank us if we win thatImakeitrain wrote: ↑May 31st, 2019, 4:43 pm“Top 15”
But we are not a top 15 team at this point. If we go undefeated we are barely a top 10 team.

Re: Bill Connelly's Utah State Preview
The "players coach" label is a given for GA. It's not something that needed to be pointed out. But keep in mind that the trajectory of a "players coach" may be up in the short term, but it goes down with time. Players need more than rah rah. GA loses control of the players, he said he even lost con...

Re: Bill Connelly's Utah State Preview
And just because I'm curious, who did you think we could hired that's better than GA? There were some very good names interested in the job. I think Gary was best because he’s much more likely to stay long term with success, but the USU job got some highly respected coaches interested in the job th...

Re: Bill Connelly's Utah State Preview
I wish I could get some information from those graphs he uses. Defensive explosiveness rated 1.3 and 30% successful? I do like metrics, but sometimes they are just meaningless. Did he watch any of our games? I didn't see any comments that made me think he did. It's a good article. It's hard to find...

Re: Queta - NBA Combine
I'd hope he wouldn't go the G-league route. How much is an athletic scholarship worth per year in $? It can't be much less than what he would be making in the G-league, right? For the 18-19 season all G-League players made a base of $35k ($7k per month), then there were opportunities for call-up pa...

Re: Crew Ainge is transferring
At this point Stall, Grootfaam, and dare I say it...........the two Summit League recruits, Fakira and Knight, are all possibilities of moving on. From what the coaching staff has said, it sounds like Grootfaam is going to get a chance to show what he can do so he may be safe. I personally think Fa...

2019 Season Projections
@ Wake Forest Wake Forest has a great QB and lots of talented WRs. They jump out to a lead in the first half after two solid drives and a defensive breakdown 40+ yard touchdown. Their D-line beats up the offensive line, but we still score a TD and two FGs, 13-21 at half. The second half our offense...

Re: Raymond and Thompson
College fans are selfish for their team. So they throw shade on guys who leave early because they wish they'd stay so their team would be better. Lazy. If DT gets drafted and makes it on a team, makes 480k for a couple years, yes he made the right choice. If DT doesn’t get drafted, doesn’t make a r...

Re: Raymond and Thompson
Thompson left early because he lost his entire offensive line. Even if he improved this year last years stats would look more impressive. This is really his only shot at the NFL.

Re: Spring Game Updates!
The team looked great except the offensive line. They gave up 5 or 6 sacks and couldn't block for our running backs. Overall, Pocket protection was alright, but it is definitely our weak spot this year. Scarver had an awesome catch fading in the end zone, jumped over a defender to make the catch an...
