Re: Tod Kowalczyk - Announcement on Tuesday

Time will tell with this and any hire, but comparing it to Dutcher is a bit much. He recruited the (I can't express myself without swearing) Fab 5! He also recruited Kawh i with Hutson.

Re: Next level sports flag football

For what it is worth Next Level Flag is a lot of fun. It was founded by a High School Coach here in the Bay Area. I helped run the San Francisco Site for a few years and now my son participates in the league in San Mateo. It's worth it in my opinion. Youth Football in this area is not good so it's a...

Randy Bennett makes very good money at St. Mary's. The funny thing is when is on the Radio here he sounds a lot like Stew. Teams won't play us type stuff.

Aggie Up Program Question (NASR) Feel Free to Move

Aggies,

I was just named Head Coach at Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco. Do any of you have the old Aggie Up 250 fundraiser info? I want to get something similar started. Any help would be great!

Hickaggie, I should have started a different thread. I agree with you on certain things and disagree others. I had just found it interesting how Scott addressed some issues with the current state of college football. I have my opinion of what the Aggies need to do to improve. My intention was to giv...

I listened to an interesting interview with PAC 12 Commissioner Larry Scott this morning. Here are his three keys from the interview: 1. TV Revenue vs. Butts in the Seats TV wins: The example he used was the Conference Championship game on this Friday had no competition compared to if the game was o...

BleedAggieBlue0, You post a lot stuff on this form. From your posts I gather you live with prominent players who dislike and/or hates Wells. They tell recruits not to sign. You also have stated that a coach has confided his distaste for Wells to you but you questioned if that particular coach had th...

Coaching Salaries

These are no joke. Heupel is going to be making $700000 at Mizzou! Insanity
The gap is getting wider with salaries. The administration needs to work on a contingency plan to pay coaches or we will be losing guys every year. It would be nice if Gary stayed away as well.

My first goal for this team and staff next season would to be handle team business in house. There is way too much team info getting out. The fact that key contributor(s) are venting to the same person as a staff member and that cat then post the dirty laundry on the board has me scratching my head....

Honest Feedback

I am an Aggie. I played for Montana Mick during the Independent Years. For those who like to claim we were not D 1 athletes I had over 15 offers out of Junior College so that was not a problem. My career at USU was injury riddled so it did turn our as planned. More importantly I have two recruits in...

I think Coach A could/should stay for a while. OSU fits 2/3 of his formula. 1. JC's Check 2. Poly's Check 3. Missionary Program needs to establish He will be able to take chances on guys that would not fly at Wisconsin. I had 5 or 6 teammates sign with OSU in the late 90's out of CCSF. Mike Riley an...

Anyone tailgating on Thursday? I am making a rare trip top Utah and will be at the game. I would not mind meeting up with some board members pregame.

Yes, I am a Raiders fan and still bitter. Its not easy being Raider fan in San Francisco but the move to $anta Clara has turned off some locals. I was lucky to meet Pete Carrol and his staff at USC when they recruited a couple of my players. I was able to spend some time with them during spring ball.

Not sure if JC and D1 are the same. I was 17 when I graduated high school and "Greyshirted" at City College of San Francisco. I took 10 units instead of 12 and delayed starting my "clock." It allowed me to mature and play my Freshman year at about 275 and then my sophomore year at 285. I then transf...

Re: Did the Mafia get to Pete Carroll????

I am being half sarcastic half serious. The play call is so off Seattle's normal play calling. If you are following the book 2nd down is when you would pass in that scenario. If its up to me score the damn TD and play 20 second of defense. I would hope that the fix was not in but you never know. I f...

Re: Did the Mafia get to Pete Carroll????

Goodell made the power play here. He did not care who won as long as Marshawn was not the MVP. He did not want him being the face of the Super Bowl after a rough year off the field for the NFL. He also avoids the public apology to the most powerful owner in the game. Bob Kraft called him out numerou...

I had two knee and two hand surgeries during my playing days. USU covered everything including rehab outside of the USU training room. My normal insurance covered my day to day health care. The day my playing career ended the university paid for nothing. This is a issue that the NCAA needs to addres...

It looks like Half Dash Protection. Wake brought two off the edge. Whimpey was a little late turning back around. DG's drop make me think found something coming across the formation so he did not roll out completely. The plus 1 off the edge was risk worth taking.

This is what coaches do. Give the kids credit when the team plays well and take the blame when the team doesn't perform up to snuff. The meeting room is the place where the athletes are held accountable.
