Re: Doubling Down

If Boise plays SDSU this week I’ll officially change my handle to Mr. Buttface. As of right now if they finish 1st place, they’re essentially guaranteed an at large with their resume as long as they don’t lose game 1 of the MWT. They go and lose 2 at SDSU and they’ll have to win the tourney to get ...

We should have brought in a transfer or jc kid between 6'5" and 6'8" who was athletic enough to create his own shot. That's what we're lacking right now.
We tried. Repeatedly.

It was fun watching Queta against the Boise bigs these last two games. He is developing a nice mid- range jumper with some touch. He also got good positron deep in the post against a strong guy in Armus - something he had not been able to do much in previous games. He's getting better all the time....

Also, Shulga was there in a couple of key plays in ways I wouldn't have expected Bairstow to be. He was up at the rim to get a put back on one play (wasn't needed, but he was right there), and the very next play he was at the other rim and picked up a rebound. I'm hopeful to see him get more minutes...

Re: Anderson and 3's

We need his 3's and everything else. He adds a big body that is not easily backed down, he adds a proficient ball handler to the court to bring the ball down if needed, he is willing to bang inside and get put backs ala Bean, but above all else I believe he is our most talented offensive player. He...

We all know that money talks. But ifn' I was Craig, I'd hold out not for the upper-midwest, but for more money in a sunny and warm location. That's just me. I think the assumption here is his ideal location is upper-midwest, because that's where home is. Do we have him on record addressing that? I ...

Would moving the game potentially turn this into a quad 2 neutral site game? If so, why would we agree to give up 2 quad 1 road games to help Boise? Excellent post and thought. Two losses for Boise in Nampa probably drops them to quad 2. Two losses for Boise in Boise they are still likely a quad 1....

I agree! I was not comparing Alston 's game to KDs (KD is way better) just pointing out that KD is weak and Alston isn't even near as strong as KD. Btw, bench press is a good indication of upper body strength and that's why the NBA combine uses it (even for dudes with long arms). Karl Malone, Ben W...
