Not sure who the two on the right are.
Coach Odom and Bean?
Not Bean look at the haircut it's definitely Zapala. Also, the build does not fit for Bean. Shulga in the background on one of the photos.
You're kidding, right? It's clearly Bean. Like, not even a question that it's Bean.

I'm young; the earliest guys I remember watching a lot of were Spencer Nelson, Nate Harris, Tony Brown. I've heard Shaler's name before but didn't know much about him. Sounds like I really should give him more consideration as one of the all time greats.

Martinez just committed to Maryland. Thelissen would be a solid get but I don't think he ever even set foot on Utah's campus, so it's not like he has a deep connection to the state. Kellier and Latham are not MWC players IMO. My best guesses: Jordan Brinson (if staff thinks he's healthy) Jesse Wade...

I believe him. Craig Smith wants to play in the NCAA tourney, and a high NET game against USU helps him get there.
I believe he's just telling everybody what they want to hear.
I don't think Utes want to hear that playing Utah State will help bolster their resume.

My thought is that for “comparable” recruits, you should get players that have a higher likelihood of staying the full 4 years. For instance, knowing what we know now, we would be much better off having started and played Ashworth over Worster this last season as they are “comparable” skilled playe...

Based on our CURRENT roster I would do the following: PG - Ashworth (30) / Bairstow (10) SG - Shulga (25) / McChesney (10) / Bairstow (5) SF - Miller (30) / Shulga (5) / Potter (5) PF - Bean (35) / Dorius (5) C - Horvath (30) / Zapala (10) We are extremely thin at PG (as usual). Bairstow should not...

I won't be surprised when the only real high school recruiting we do is going after mission kids because they are more likely to remain at Utah State once they get here. And we've typically had tremendous success with mission kids. They play very well once they return. Says Jordan Stone, Danny Berg...
