Kinda Aggie Related: Rolovich to Washington State

Rumored salary around $3 million per year. At least we have film and an idea of tendencies.

I like the options the odd front gives defensive coordinators... Aranda, Orlando and Patterson put fun products on the field.

This year... not so much.

Not the splash I was expecting. Was 44-44 at Boston College.

Re: Oregon OC is rumored to be the next UNLV coach

Their home stadium is about to become kick-ass.

Their $31 million state of the art practice/training facility is barely christened.

I think UNLV could be perennially good with the right guy now that their facilities are beyond legit.

Re: Let's Fight

Prior to Wyoming, USU ranked 124 / 130 teams nationally in red zone offense efficiency. I'm positive that today those numbers went down as we had zero redzone TD's. Those extra 8 points would've come in handy.

Re: No matter how this ends...

We don't want shotgun in goal line offense inside the 2-yd line when our 6'-4" 225 lbs QB could get shoved in for a TD on like 3 occasions this year. Instead we get stood up again. We don't learn our lesson and later in the game after a near pick-6 miss a snap that goes for a 26-yd loss. How many go...

Re: Let's Fight

It was a win. Defense got some stops and turnovers. Offense showed flashes. That said, we suck balls in redzone offense, especially in formation, play calling and overall philosophy. We have all season and we can't seem to learn from our mistakes. It's embarrassing. While I'll always appreciate a wi...

Losing to better athletes or teams having a good day in a competitive, hard-fought game goes with the territory. Getting boat-raced by less than great teams isn't really acceptable. Still cheering for the Ags, just don't recognize this collective group from early September. Bummed as their performan...

GA was never a good in-game coach

Coordinators cutting our offensive points per game in half year-over-year and giving up 641 yards at home to a sub .500 team the week after crapping the bed to the tune of 450 rushing yards on the road will cause conclusions to be drawn.

Re: GA was never a good in-game coach

Head football coaches as USU have been good when the staff around them was solid. Andersen’s initial 2012 rise came as he added Dave Aranda and lost Dave Baldwin (addition by subtraction) to greener pastures. Wells” teams overachieved with Todd Orlando or David Yost on staff... but struggled with me...

At least the deep pocket booster club can’t blame anyone but themselves.

Hartwell did okay with the hoops hire when left alone.

Re: Love not the only quarterback to struggle with Hype

New play-caller, offensive staff, less experienced and less physical offensive line and injuries to skill players, lots of drops (Repp’s sure TD last week, Scarver two drops per game). Tough to overcome.

Re: Let’s go ahead and make this game as difficult as possible...

Love was staring down the out patterns tonight, not a good game with three turnovers. We’re pretty bad in the red zone this year. Bright played with a ton of heart. Scarver drops a couple of catchable balls per game. His speed is special, hands are below average. The Defense was spectacular minus on...
