I have confirmed that Zahkar has committed.
PWO?
Nope. Scholarship guy.
So, unless someone someone is leaving the team, we only have 1 scholarship to give for next years class, correct?

Re: Recruiting

https://twitter.com/mcclungmac/status/1265722767590207494?s=21 Surprising. I mean BYU is legitimately talking like they have a chance at a national championship and this would have fed into it. I mean they did sign a 8 pt per game big man from Purdue that suddenly is going to make them unstoppable....

Re: New Commit (Szymon Zapala)

In addition to being very light for his frame, I doubt McChesney would have found minutes with Bean and Anderson playing as well as they did at the four. There wasn't any room in the rotation for him (while there was some for Bairstow in the backcourt) so redshirting him was a smart option over pla...

While this is good news for us winning, I wanted Flynn back. It would have led to a stronger conference.

But good for him! I'm sure he'll do well in the draft.
I agree partially, SDSU still has some talent so they’ll still be a top tier team but losing Flynn makes the conference lose some flash.

Time to revise and put the Aggies number 1
We’ll see how big of an impact our transfer guy is. We’re now in the running for number 1, though.

Re: Flynn declares for draft

That’s 2 teams we’ve broken now, UNR 2018/19 and SDSU 2019/20. Maybe that’s a bit of a stretch but it’s still awesome Flynn’s last game was a loss in the MWC title game at the hands of Sam Merrill.

Re: MW Power Rankings for next year (long)

You'd think I have some extra time but was tracking who was coming and going in the league and then spent too much time. However alot could happen between now and next season. The way I look at next year is their are really 5 tiers. Tier 1: SDSU (If Malachi comes back) Tier 2: USU, UNLV, Boise (Cou...

Re: Recruiting

Why is it that we're looking for a grad transfer, rather than a Juco guy? Because we really only need a 1 and done player who can A) score and B) develop the young guys. We’ve got good talent coming in with Rollie and Ashworth. They’re just young, so learning the ropes from an older guy for a seaso...

Re: The VERY last play of the MWCT

In 1993, Jimmy Degraffenried hit an uncontested 3-point shot from 40+ feet in the Spectrum to give Weber a walk-off buzzer beater win 87-86. After the game, someone asked Eustacy why they had allowed such a shot. His response was (essentially) we got them to take the very shot that we designed - a ...

Re: The VERY last play of the MWCT

After Sam's shot. Monday morning quarterbacking I know, but I absolutely hate it when teams don't guard the player inbounding the ball, especially when they have to go the length of the court. I always remember Coach K. of Duke basically saying he was relieved when Kentucky/Rick Pitino decided not ...

Re: Overlooked lineup

McChesney was consider to be the 2nd best shooter in practice, and the best was Merrill. Bairstow flashed real potential at times, and you got to remember he was a true freshmen last season. Queta is Queta, and Queta will probably be better than last season. The gap between no. 1 and whoever no. 3 ...

Any word on Sedrick Hammonds yet? 247 still has us as 67% favorites to land him. He’s a 3 star PG out of Las Vegas. I heard it was possibly academics but not sure what the hold up on his commitment is.
