Re: Conference Tournament Thoughts

This was my first time to the MW tournament. I attended the Fresno and SDSU games. I used to go to all the tournaments in the WAC and Big West. -Really enjoyed the Thomas & Mack. When UNLV improves that has the potential to be a tough place to play. -Wide concourses to navigate easily. Food options...

Re: Conference Tournament Thoughts

What made it hard to judge was that USU fans were spread throughout the entire arena where SDSU fans were more concentrated to 1/4 of the arena. The fan bases that fill in entire sections and/or group together always look like they have more even when they perhaps don't.

The ignore button makes chat tolerable for me. The nicest thing is that chat remembers who you have ignored, so it "sticks" until you clear all your cache out. Eliminating one (or maybe two) people completely changes the experience. I recommend it. So come on back @NVAggie, just set me on ignore an...

I assume many of the chatters were at the game because there were so many Aggie fans at the game that did nothing but sit. They must have been on their phones because they were not cheering at all. It was as if they were at the opera. I'm sure glad we have student that always seem to do a great job...

Hahaha, you guys are quick! I intended to put this very poll up after the season was over when we had a more clear picture of what we have in Smith moving forward. Funny to read and hear local media talk about their local school/team sometimes. Would anyone outside of Nebraska refer to Nebraska basketball as a "major program"? Seriously, even their once proud football program is and has been a dying brand for quite some time now. It's not much different than A...

In answer to the original post, Steve Fisher got the Michigan job before the Big Dance started because Frieder took the asu job after the conference tournament. Editorial opinion: no one is going to poach Craig Smith for several years. I think everyone dreaming for coach smith to be here longer tha...

There are numerous scalpers at T&M, it's actually hard to avoid them as they are on you the minute you exit your car in the parking lot. I usually try to avoid them since they want near face value for what they have. I have bought many tix from fans of the losing fans. I think I may have done this e...

This is pretty helpful to see the views synced up like this. It definitely verifies that at least a portion of the team and staff had exited the floor and gone up the tunnel when Caroline makes his charge.

Pretty sure we have that answer already. He was the last off the court, last up the tunnel, last to finally be coerced into the locker room by UNR assistant coaches. He was also the first to bolt from that locker room in an effort to charge the USU locker room in a fit of rage. Thank goodness he ha...

I don't have a good feeling about this one. I should have more belief in this team but I think it is all too much too fast. Re: The Nevada Incident: What Really Happened

This also helps make sense of why all the Nevada players in the initial tunnel video footage look unconcerned and uninterested in JC's behavior as they head back towards the locker room. My guess is they had all just charged past their assistant coach(es) to stop JC from going to the USU locker room...

So the KUTV video that went out first was actually after Nevada had already made it to their locker room and then came charging out of it to get to the USU locker room? This does make more sense of why the order of the players and coaches didn't match how we saw them leave the court and enter the tu...

Re: Man I'm getting kind of a little worried now with Craig Smith and how long he's with us.

I think most big time schools are going to want more than a single year as proof before considering Smith. So much of this coaching thing is good timing and Smith has had the benefit of having a decent core of players that just needed some direction, a top scorer in the league at his disposal, and t...

Re: What tick me off

The flopping was pretty bad, mostly the one called against Taylor. To be fair, the refs did not fall for it later in the game on a couple of occasions and let them play on. If you read perspectives from Nevada's fans they believe the Aggies were the floppers due to all the charging calls, it seemed ...

Nah, this isn't even the highest ranked Nevada team to play in the Spectrum. They were ranked #9 when we beat them in Logan, then again in Reno in a single week in 2007...scores identical in both games, 79-77.

Arizona State lost too. St. John's also lost. Pac 12 was full of upsets that work to our favor. Washington will drop in the NET rankings to being behind us which is shocking. Aggies are unoffically ranked higher than EVERY PAC 12 team. Still need to best Nevada. The Huskies ended up dropping from 2...
