After falling to the Buffaloes. Coach Smith, looked MISERABLE on the sidelines. Grass isn't always greener. Don't think he would have won at USU long-term. Best for the program that he moved on Interesting thought. He was the perfect coach at the time to breathe some much needed energy into the pro...

All I could think about when watching Murray go on and on about Nevada in his tourney breakdown was that CSU was going to beat Nevada in the first game and his whole projection of them running the table to a tourney championship would look foolish.
Check.

I would say Keylan is more important than Kalib (who is the one not likely playing due to ankle injury) but both are big pieces to what they do.
Gonna be hard to beat SDSU short handed.

Re: Welp...Sprinkle frontrunner for Washington?
If Sprinkle is done with USU then I'm done showing any support to college athletics. This is literally the last straw for me. I'd rather watch the grass grow than support it. I've been there. I think many on here would be lying if they said they haven't been. It's hard rooting for the front of the ...

Re: WBB: Ard fired before presser
Do we know if it was before the presser? Maybe it was a few days ago, similar to the Washington's men team. I have this question as well. If this was the case, most people would have thrown the word "just" in there (e.g. "I just spoke with Diana ..."). I think in this situation, it would have been ...

One small detail that keeps getting lost in this mess. NILs are not run or organized by the AD or the University admin. They are wholly separate and run by boosters and those with a rooting interest in a particular University. As it exists now, donor-fueled NIL collectives must run independently and...

This is pure speculation: Diana is not an amateur and didn't "fire Kayla as she was walking off the court." I am guessing a discussion happened a couple/several 30+ point losses ago between Sabau and Ard along the lines of "This obviously hasn't been working out for either side, we would like to ha...

Scottie G. and Spencer just mentioned in the post game that they were shown the contract extension being offered by USU to Sprinkle and they honestly couldn't believe the number being tossed around. They also mentioned a bunch of fouls on USU that weren't called. I'll give the announcers credit because I saw them mention it both ways. In the first 5 minutes of gametime I heard them saw "that could have been called a travel" when FSU had the ball. There were times in the second half when both t...

If went with 2 bigs all game, we win this game by 30 to 40 points. They were too short to cover 2 bigs, and you can see it when the limited minutes with Osobor and Johnson. I made a similar comment on Aggie Call and Al Lewis proceeded to tell me that we couldn't play 2 bigs togther because Fresno S...

Re: Even a wilder finish?
CSU was so poorly coached in crunch time. They allowed Lucas to receive the inbounds pass multiple times in the final seconds when they had to foul. Then, if that wasn't bone headed enough, they allowed him to catch the final inbounds and backed off of him--essentially allowing him a free wide open ...

The result of the game last night is what should have happened when the NET 18 team plays the NET 30 team on the NET 30 team’s home floor. I don’t take issue with the lack of movement. What is a little silly is a team moving up a ton for blasting a bad team. How so? Winning does nothing for your ne...

I think we are somewhat blinded by Great's stat lines. He had 3 or 4 times that many turnovers in the game so I'm not sure why it only shows 2. Hell, he had turnovers in back-to-back possessions twice in the game. He lost the ball going up with it several times and threw the ball away on fast breaks...
