Re: No surprise but Groot is gone

Looks like he let everyone run with the idea that he was finishing up just so he could start that last home game. Genius. Classic Groot move. In all seriousness the guy was a great, supportive teammate when many would have pouted. I hope he finds a good landing spot where he can play out his senior...

He was publicly shamed and dismissed from the team for impregnating his girlfriend when he played there. Typical BYU garbage.

Re: LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN

I just cringe whenever I hear people say “don’t leave us Coach” that’s mostly what I was getting at. Could you imagine if day after day your spouse said desperately “please don’t leave me”? After a while wouldn’t you start feeling like “man I gotta get away from this person”. I actually heard a guy...

If you want to keep Coach Smith, the thing you can do to directly influence that is donate to the Wayne Estes Fund. I just made my donation. You can make yours at the following address:

Kudos on the win you guys ! I know our fan bases don’t really like each other but I’ll be cheering for you guys to make some noise in the tourney. It was a hard fought game on both sides and that’s all you can ask for. Extra hats off to Merril. I freakin hate that kid. Lol. But good luck the rest o...

Sorry to hear about the migraine, @aggiesdidwhat. We held down the fort without you. Hopefully we've converted you to an annual tournament attendee. I look forward to it all year long every single year.

See you next year!

Re: Lunardi latest bracketology has us up to a 10 seed.

I would take that Butler matchup all day long. They are dropping like a led balloon right now. I also like that matchup, and I'm also perplexed at Indiana as seeded as high as they are after losing to Purdue last night. It was a "good loss". A few more of those and they'll really move up the standi...

Look, Smith is going to leave and it won't be for the money. The question is when is he going to leave? He was offered an extension last spring and did not take it.

I'll be happy to continue the prizes if you'll continue running the games. Prize for this year's basketball winner will be an autographed Marvin Roberts basketball card. Maybe we can keep commenting on this thread just to bug all the angry old men on this forum.

Wasn't last year's Senior Night vs. Nevada? Guess we'll find out tonight whether an opponent like SJS might lend to Brito getting the start.
Yes it was. But I didn't think starting Dwayne Brown, Jr. would've been that huge of a stretch. Brito should be starting anyway.

Obvious Brito start?? Not sure Smith buys into that tradition. He didn't start all of the seniors last year on Senior Night. Too bad. There have been some standout performances on senior night. I remember being super jazzed with how well Sean Harris performed his first senior night in the '13-'14 s...

This was the first time that I ever remember seeing two Aggie basketball players grab 14+ rebounds in the same game. Bean ended up with 14 and Neemy 15.

Great question: 2003 vs. Kansas (2-15) - We were down by 4 at half. Went back and forth with the runner up that year. If Ross and Butler shoot better than 25% (5-20) we win. Kansas wins 64-61 2005 vs. Arizona (3-14) - Up 3 at the half. We didn't shoot very well but were serviceable. Arizona came ou...

Also, according to Utah State Athletics, Queta only had 2 blocks tonight and only 2 turnovers. So.... Those stats are typically thrown in quickly and then revisited over the next few days. Oh. Uh.... The question apparently ask for several players. In that case: Wesley passes in to Goodman who dribbles down and passes to Spicer for ...
