Re: Student attendance

If I remember right, even the original gameday shirts started as just a rogue a side project by the original creator, before it was adopted as an official school tradition. Actually, Tyler Olsen was a former football player and cheerleader who got elected Athletics Vice President. He designed, and ...

Re: Fonzo

I only watched one season of Mike Santos, and I was like 13 at the time, so my ability to judge his talent and potential was not exactly refined. While Santos sported a fantastic 'fro and was drafted in the 3rd Round by the Buffalo Braves, he did not crack the roster and never played a minute of NB...

Re: Fonzo

Queto vs Santos: Other than those two, we would have, I think, to go back to the 1960s to find a better center in all of Aggie history than these two. My question: Which is/was better? Santos or Queto? Yes, I understand fully that Santos had a better head of hair. And had much better people feeding...

I was there as well. My cousin had the stomach flu and actually ran up the stairs right before the shot blowing chunks everywhere. I felt like doing the same after the shot went in. I remember watching that guy in warmups and he was hitting the three pointers. I thought it was crazy because he was t...

Re: We have bad luck with hot shooters

Well that was quite the turnaround — 33 points. Down by 15 eight minutes into the game and then go on to win by 18. Not quite a big enough turnaround to cover the 19-point spread. I understand that at least one poster on this board may have felt the sting of that one (though I understand he doubled...

Once again a headscratcher as to why Brown gets 4 min. in the entire game?!! :wtf: He goes from playing 22 min. (13 pts., 6 reb) in one game to once again hardly seeing the floor. This can't be he recipe for consistency out of a player. I missed some of the game. Did he get in and start driving int...

If the Aggies play three games after the end of the regular season (the Nevada home game), Merrill will finish the season between 7th and 9th in points scored in a season. Your assessment is spot on. If he scores at the same rate that he is scoring he will have 656 points which would place him 7th ...

Neemi: Shot Blocking & Scoring Efficiency

Neemias Queta may well be the best shot blocker and the most efficient scorer (FG%) we have ever had. He is currently leading the record books in both categories and it's not even close. He will easily lead every shot blocking category (both career and single season) if he sticks around a minimum of...

You can pass the ball much faster than dribble it. That's why you space players out and set picks and have them moving around. For me Brown is trying to hard. He can be a really good role player if he lets the game come to him. His drive to the basket with 2-3 people on him was downright embarrassing. I know he wants to make an impact, but he needs to play within the game and try hero ball. I agree 100%. I think that's why...

However many post touches Queta gets, double it. He was 6-6 tonight, should’ve had double the field goal attempts. They had no answer for him. Queta was 6-6 last night and 5-5 against Air Force. Brown played a total of 5 minutes last night. All in the first half. I believe that the last straw was when he put his head down at the three point line and dribbled into a double, and then a triple team, and still tried to get a shot off leading to a turnover with three of his teammates wide open o...
