Re: Sammy is IN!

Sam with the patented taking of a charge on the break. And the call by Marv Albert was he is out of Brigham Young. I threw a couple of f bombs at the TV when I heard that. I thought that too but when I watched it back, I think he was still talking about Bryant who had just made the basket prior to ...

Re: Sammy is IN!

How long has Bryant been on the team and where and why did they get him? I thought the Bucks wete pretty loaded at the guard/wing position? They signed him right before the end of the regular season from overseas if I remember right. I don't think he played any regular season games. He's definitely...

Re: The hopefully definitive offseason thread

It's good to know there are good men like you guys in the world. As for myself? I found an overwhelming desire build up in me to want to punch that kid in the face after about the third time he parroted the answer back to RJ. :) Yes, that was a clear tactic that he employed after every answer. I'm ...

Re: The hopefully definitive offseason thread

Thanks for sharing the interview. I'll be honest, the kid interviewing him is obviously not polished, but his questions were on point! It was a better interview than a lot of ones I've seen from polished news media people. I wouldn't mind seeing him interview some of our other players.

Based on proximity, there will be BIG contingents of fans there from ECU, Davidson, and ODU. Wonder how the Aggie faithful will turn out? Get that Washington D.C. USU Alumni Association Chapter fired up!! I live in the DC area and was planning on attending this past year before they said "no fans"....

You guys acting like it's our birthright to win games in March and that coach Smith was a failure because he didn't do that are ridiculous. We've won a single game in March once in the last, what... 50 years? Smith resurrected a program that was NEVER competitive in the MWC and brought us to the top...

I won't be surprised when the only real high school recruiting we do is going after mission kids because they are more likely to remain at Utah State once they get here. And we've typically had tremendous success with mission kids. They play very well once they return. Says Jordan Stone, Danny Berg...

Craig didn't do us any favors. He negotiated a decrease in the buyout from 75% of the remaining salary to 30% of the remaining salary in 2019. Then in 2020 he negotiated it down to 25% of the remaining salary. Sure, he added a couple years to the contract, but going from 75% of the salary to 25% of ...

Accepting an offer from Utah shows he doesn’t care about USU? It is a business decision. Sports isn’t a war between good and evil where actual lives are being lost. Sounds like some hyperbole on both sides. Shulga is a great 8th man off the bench. I feel more comfortable with him out there than Bairstow at this point. Bairstow has some offensive skill, but turns the ball over way too much.

Why the hate for Shulga? Kid is solid and has consistently improved all season. Makes good basketball decisions, doesn't turn the ball over, plays good defense and can knock down open shots...
