Re: Banda Recruiting Rank
This is when my Aggie paranoia and inferiority complex kick in. How long will we be able to keep him? I'll be worried about this if he can recruit some players that we shouldn't be getting. It's one thing to get a local FL kid to stay at a smaller school. Let see if he can get that FL kid out here,...

Feels like as teams focus on Brock we aren't as good as we need to be at getting him more shots.

Re: Fouls?
It doesn't happen very often, but we got a little out-coached as well. We weren't ready for the zone they threw at us late at all. 3 straight times down the floor we attacked the zone with no spacing at all and everybody on one side of the floor. Take note because I doubt we see it a team be able to...

Would love to see Marco finish just a little better. Gets to the hoop with great moves regularly and needs to get a little better at cashing in

Re: INNOCENT!
On Friday morning, Jerry Bovee contacted Hartwell and said, “[w]e have a problem.” He told him that the players were not going to play the final game. Hartwell believed the players were upset about Coach Maile not being hired as head coach. Hartwell contacted Coach Maile (after some difficulty) and...

Re: Maile's "three pillars" recruiting strategy (from the report)
While I agree with Noelle's concern about being inclusive on this approach, this is a strange thread for me. Many on this board were complaining that the new Coach A wouldn't have enough of this strategy just a few weeks ago. I heard for years that Matt Wells wasn't doing it as much as people wanted...

Re: INNOCENT!
As I read the report, I see a huge failure by Hartwell to share that he knew the meeting was about Frank with Noelle. She went in expecting a different conversation and that contributed in large part to this misunderstanding. I didn't see anywhere that he shared with her that this was about Frank an...

Re: Verdict on Cockett to be released Friday
Even if she said what the explanation was, it isn't ok. She blew it. I hate to say it because I don't think there is a discrimination problem, at least I hope not. But if I did a similar thing in a hiring situation at my job and it let to this kind of a black cloud, I would be gone. I just don't kn...

Re: Verdict on Cockett to be released Friday
My guess? Dr. Crockett said something along the lines of this: "We appreciate you athletes and how you've represented the school in a uniquely challenging year. We appreciate your sacrifices. We acknowledge the ringing endorsement and character witness you've given Coach Maile. He's been a steadyin...

I think we had a lot of talent on the OL. I can't speak to the coaching, but I think this past couple of years the biggest problem was in the weight room. Probably GA 2.0's original sin

Re: Karter Shaw in Transfer Portal
Is Shaw salvageable or is this a dead deal. Seems the staff is bringing in some great guys from the portal so far, so I have to think they've got some OL prospects out there. Karter Shaw may be open to staying. Stupid question I know, but why would he put his name in the transfer portal then? After...

Re: Where is Damuni in all of this?
He can either be a great asset in repairing things- other than not pushing harder to get his son be an Aggie but I’m also suspicious of him of potentially being the person who had the recording of Hartwell- only because I don’t believe Wheat obtained it on his own- and I do believe that you’d need ...

Re: "New" column about the football program
There is no one behind the curtain on this, just very poor judgement by Cockett and Hartwell. If there was a bias issue, I am glad this is happening to uncover it. If there isn't, she should still be in trouble for saying something that allowed the perception to exist.

Sorry guys, I think we need a starting QB in the worst way. I agree. Peasley has some strengths an makes some great throws. He is no where near consistent enough to be the starter to a good team. We can hope he improves, but hope isn't a plan. We need to bring in people at QB more than any other po...

Re: Doug Robinson article on the Maile incident
The damage is done. We know enough about what was said to know at best Noelle said something she has to know better not to say and at worst, there was a real discriminatory issue. In the end it doesn't matter. Noelle and USU will pay the price either way. I'm glad the players did what they did becau...
