Re: AAC Western Expansion Smoke

Do we trust the MWC to make the right moves here? Good question. I am very skeptical that Craig Thompson will make the right moves based on his track record. He has some issues but his track record is great when it comes to this kind of thing. He saved the MWC from extinction 10 years ago and almos...

Re: Who strikes first?

Not sure I see Kansas to the Big 10. Maybe. Their market is smaller than SLC and they don't move the needle at all in the spirit that matters. The tough choice for the Big 12 will be to go west or east. Cincy and Houston are no brainers. Do you even do to 12? If so Byu and Boise in the west versus ...

Re: Who strikes first?

Oklahoma State and Iowa State bring not TVs to the big 10. Not happening. My guess is that everyone is trying to talk to everyone else, at both the conference level with the B12 trying to survive by reaching out to possible individual schools and the MWC/AAC conferences trying to convince B12 schoo...

Re: AAC Western Expansion Smoke

I don't see CSU and the one true team being pulled west. They don't bring new markets in that case and just take from the pool rather than add. I don't see the PAC XII condescending to take Boise State for other reasons. I can see each school having opportunities to head east with Big XII leftovers ...

I think Legas is much closer to contributing than Hill was. I think there is a legitimate case for him to be QB2 going into the year.

These guys are 230lb- 235LB OLB's not DE's. Maybe you could call them rushing ends, if they come in on passing downs and go straight for the QB. That's not how Heninger played last season. He stood up and dropped into coverage. That isn't what a defensive lineman does. So where do you put these guy...

That game was brutal. The 2009 SJSU game is one of my best memories though. Great comeback win. My sports crazy son was only 2 and he sat without complaining through the snow and cold of the first half just watching the game. He did complain once, at halftime. The teams went in and the band came out...

Best option is to take Trax, the light rail system. Park at an outlying station in the valley and ride right to the stadium. Stations further out in the valley have free parking.

I can't imagine judging a 16ish year old kid as a douche for one play in a rec league type game...yikes. Take a deep breath y'all.
Lots of us were probably douches on occasion at 16. I know I was. And if I could do that when I was 16, I would have.

No restrictions on how high the ball bounces or how many steps you can take dribbling as long as the ball doesn't come to rest in your hand. No difference between a long dribble thrown ahead and this play... except for the douchiness. Nothing illegal about it matter how it looks. Would I want this g...

Me either. I think he has been better than advertised for awhile and for whatever reason was overlooked. If this were to happen, I fully expect Alo to move to one of the G positions

Lajuan was great in some games and not in others. If the other team had high level athletes he couldn't contribute. If not, he looked serviceable. One of the best blocking backs we've had in awhile though. Is that the one where Tauteoli from the U (former Aggie commit) took the cheapshot at Chuckie'...

I know this is unpopular, but I think being in a conference with byu- Provo would be great. This system actually does make it possible for a P5 champion to be left out of the playoff...that is why I like it...also why I think it will change. They aren't going to stand for that. As for the one true team, I don't think this changes things much for them with the exception that there are two m...

Here's another interesting question:. Is Rudy Gobert the best interior defensive player ever? The rules are so different now it is tough to tell. Illegal defense rules are relaxed, you can't be a physical on the perimeter...all if these devalues the traditional post up game and makes it much easier...

Coach Banda, I know you're reading. If we're going to use a 4 man front, I want 3 bigs in that group. One of the DE's can be smaller. Looking at our roster, that means only one out of Joiner, Vaughns, and Heninger would be on the field. That can't happen. So, I'd suggest we line up with Vaughns at ...
