Re: Conference Seeding
I think you are right with the Boise loss tonight. Otherwise if Boise was tied for 3rd with us, then Boise wins the tiebreaker with USU and SDSU wins the tiebreaker with CSU. Now Boise lost i think CSU wins the tiebreaker for the #1 seed. Boise was already a game behind us before tonight, now they ...

Worster back... Shulga looking solid
I am optimistic about a tourney run if Worster is healthy and starting again in a few weeks. Shulga plays lights out defense. Vast upgrade over Bairstow. Is MA the best perimeter defender we've had since Pooh?

Re: Jakob Robinson transferring to BYU
The last staff just did a real bang-up job across the board, sounds like. This is already a rebuild, but I shudder to think how bad it would have been if the old staff had the keys to the car for another year or two. Wish Jakob good luck at BYU except for when he plays us. That said, would have bee...

If we are “out-coached” in every game we lose, does Smith out-coach every team he beats? Or does it not work that way? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's simply an easy heuristic to go to as a casual fan. When the football team doesn't produce offensively "terrible play-calling" is a similar s...

Aside from all the drama in the report, I wanted to start a separate thread on the -- I believe previously unknown -- meeting between Cockett and Maile where he campaigned for himself and outlined his recruiting strategy of: 1) Polynesians 2) Locals 3) Return missionaries While these are all key bu...

IMO those hoping or counting on Zapala to be any kind of consistent contributor are going to be very disappointed. That includes Smith then cause in his own words Zapala “is going to be a star”. Formal apology to Brock Miller
I've been highly critical of his play the past few years. I'd like to apologize. He's playing so much better this year, shooting 38.8% from three. If he can go 4/10 from 3 every game, we win most games. He even looked serviceable playing defense at times last night.

Offensive Scheme: Questions and observations
Coach Anderson has stated we will be running an up-tempo offense as we did with our record breaking offense in 2018. What do we feel we lack offensively to run this correctly? These are the biggest needs with such an offense: -QB with above average arm and pocket presence -2-3 RBs that can run and c...

I love it! He started a lot of games at Kansas. Also, I do love the commit but I must be honest haha, if I ranked the positions of need for transfer impact on defense I’d probably put CB at the very bottom. You're always upset. Take a deep breath, this is a good thing even though you're mad about it.

IMHO Love was far from being an NFL starting QB when he was drafted. That might be a harsher opinion than I had with Boroughs, Herbert or other college QB's because I saw every one of Love's mistakes. What will make or break Love as an NFL QB will be his footwork. His maneuverability in the pocket....
