Re: Recruiting

You have poached a kid from the ACC. It goes both ways.. There are trade offs to grabbing transfers. It is hardly fool proof i.e. New Mexico, and you risk losing your youngsters. But I agree that it makes for difficulties in year to year roster management. Sure, we got a transfer from a P5 from the...

Re: Football Season Is In Jeopardy

There’s not a doubt in my mind China’s death toll is easily 10x more than what they’ve reported. As of right now without a miracle vaccine created and mass distributed, I don’t think there’s any way football is played (in front of crowds at least) this year. I'd say it's 10x in the city of Wuhan al...

Jalen Tate update. I think he ends up at Cincinnati or Xavier but who knows. Again we’ve seen plenty that say they have interest from us and in the end we never contacted. But this kid would be good. All league defense multiple times and double digit scorer. Article has some good stuff. I think we ...

Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life. Mostly because I was able to see St. Merrill perform his miracles live. That said, the friends I was with and I were trying to figure out the split between Aggie fans and SDSU fans. We figured it was 4/1 maybe even 5/1 in favor of SDSU. I was impres...

Re: Jlove on front page of ESPN

GB has the most storied QB tradition in the league (Herbert, Rote, Starr, Favre, Rogers). If Love landed there and could be the next great QB in that linage it would be cool as heck. Not to mention that Matt Lefleur might be a great coach for him. Lefleur has Coached 2 MVPs (Rodgers and Matt Ryan) ...

As I predicted last month! But we shall see... I think he could go to GB, which would not be good for him.
If it were warmer and Rodgers wasn't such a little b**** it would be fine. I like Indianapolis more for him as he'd get to play half his games indoors and surrounded by a very good OL.

Re: Miller 1st half: 0-5 fg, 0-4 3pt

Plain and simple, Miller has been a poor shooter during conference play. I would roughly credit him with three good games in conference. Two of those were losses @AFA and @SDSU. The win was @WYO. Based on my calculations he is shooting 28.7% from the field. Inside the 3 point line he is shooting 40...

Re: Miller 1st half: 0-5 fg, 0-4 3pt

Smith played Ainge last year far too long when it was clear he needed to come off the bench/play less. Miller is struggling shooting the rock and just in general offensively. A change of pace (not starting) could be just what he needs to shoot better.

as of today, BSU, UNLV and CSU are all 9-6. BSU is 1-0 v. CSU and 1-0 v. UNLV, which is 1-1 v. CSU. Aggregate BSU 2-0, UNLV 1-2, CSU 1-2, which gives BSU the #4 and puts the other two in the two-team tiebreak rules. UNLV and CSU are both currently 0-1 v. #1 SDSU, so the tie is broken by UNLV's win ...

UNLV (6)
UNM (7)
SJSU (10)
WYO (11)

SDSU looked really good in Boise today. The L for Boise puts them all the way back to 5th. As a side note, the refs let them play as they have let USU and their opponents play the last few games. I wonder if it's a deliberate move by the conference to get the teams used to how tourney refs will call...
