Re: Transfer Portal Thread

Sounds like a star WR for Utah, Solomon Enis, is transferring. He’s retweeted Siaosi’s tweets about his increased production since transferring. The thought is that that may have been the reason he wants to leave. He wants to go somewhere to get more production after seeing what Siaosi did. I’m sur...

Great write up! If Queta is himself we win close .... otherwise it's a 20 point loss
You think SDSU beats us by 20 at home without a full Queta? Even without Queta I don't see us getting blown out in front of a sell-out crowd.

Re: PFF Mock Draft: Love goes to Patriots #27

I don’t think Brady has another year in him. The age decline has hit him hard this year and if he does stay Love might see playing time next year depending upon where he is in depth chart. I really hope Love gets a year or two develop. I think he would benefit from a year learning in an NFL system ...

PFF Mock Draft: Love goes to Patriots #27

https://www.pff.com/news/draft-pff-2020-nfl-mock-draft-chase-young-lands-in-washington-with-the-second-pick As much as I loathe the Patriots, you can't argue with how they develop QBs. If he can sit behind Brady for a year or two and develop with the best coach possibly ever, that's an ideal fit for...

Re: Who makes an NFL 53 man roster?

Two or three kickers get drafted every year. Dom Eberle should absolutely be one of those guys. Career stats at USU 167/167 extra points 24/27 FG < 30 17/19 FG 30-39 19/28 FG 40-49 4/7 FG > 50 Eberle has been an amazing kicker for us. I hope he gets a shot in the NFL. But the fact that former Ute k...

Re: Predictions vs #1 SDSU this saturday? 1/4/20

My predictions SDSU 80 USU 66 Won't really be a blowout because it's a home game for the Aggies. Sucks Queta isn't playing because i was wondering how he would do against Wetzel(our new 6'11 big man from Vanderbilt who has been dominating so far). USU needs to win this but unfortunately, i don't se...

Who makes an NFL 53 man roster?

For my money, from this team: Draftees: Jordan Love (Rounds 1-3) Tipa Galeai (rounds 5-7) David Woodward (1-2 round talent goes rounds 5-7 due to injury concerns) Wildcard: Dominik Eberle (UDFA) Mariner and Repp will also sign contracts but not make rosters I think Love, Woodward and Galeai all get ...

Let me say that for me the jury is still out on some coach's. The secondary tackling was just bad, and that must be addressed, it was in part do to a lack of toughness, that must change. The lack of speed at linebacker is a real problem. I do not know how good the strength and conditioning staff is...

Bowl Game in Review: The good, bad, and ugly

Last night wasn't the outcome any of us wanted or the one that many expected. It's easy to get carried away after a win or a loss in shining a light on the good and bad. I saw some of both last night, but mostly bad: The Good Offensive Line: We were able to run the ball effectively and they gave Lov...

I think we'll see some hackayoeli. We've got a bunch of big bodies with fouls to give. The problem with that strategy is they have a bunch of good foul shooters and if they're in the bonus too quickly that could spell trouble for us, Peck. Is it just me or does it seem like more of our recruits this year have Polynesian roots? It is one of the pillars gary said he'd use to build the program first time around. 6/8 commits this year have Polynesian backgrounds.

The problem for Sam in this game is he IS an Aggie, through and through. Which means he approaches this BYU as a player and a fan. He wants to win so bad that he tends to press. I think the first two years Merrill didn't have a great supporting cast around him and had to press a bit. Last year he h...
