Coach Smith Interview on ESPN 700

I know it's been said many times before but Coach Smith is such a great interview! I love Stew and have so many great memories from those years but Smith is a lot of fun. He talks about Sam and a little about Queta and the process he is going through with his decision. Here's a link: https://espn700...

Re: Kuba?

I'm not sure I want my 7'+ center taking 3s ever. Takes him further away from where I need him, in the post and rebounding. Or catching it inside and kicking it out when it collapses. It should be a rarity that he's shooting 3s. He should focus on his down low game and defense. Our offense works th...

Re: I'm not a football coach

I also wish we had taken our time with our defensive substitution when Wyoming substituted on the last drive. We could have forced them to run some more time of the clock. I was watching the Baylor - Oklahoma game. Baylor took there time substituting and forced Oklahoma to call a time out. Anyway it...

I love his feel for the game. He ran the point most of the second half and had some great passes after penetrating or pushing the ball up the floor.

Re: Queta. 18 pts, 15 reb, 6 ast, 4 blk

I think we have one more year with Queta. He needs to get stronger to be an NBA player. Once we see him getting those little lobs and throwing them down then we know he is gone. Ala James Harden to Clint Capela. I like to compare him to Capela. But yeah, he needs a much stronger lower body, he spen...

Re: What about TK?

I wonder if part of the reason he hasn't seen more playing time is because of a lack of defensive effort. He's had a tough time staying in front of guys. Seams like someone with his athletic ability should be a better defender. Hopefully he's figuring it out. It's nice to have another guy out there ...

A few years ago I think 2012 they offered $5 ticket to local High school seniors. Since it is senior day you could do something like that. Their are lots of ideas that this administration could do. Granted they have done some things and I applaud them for that. Although disagree with this guy and h...

I went to the highschool games last Friday and there was a huge line. They had 2 people working and it took forever to get a ticket. A lot of people missed most or all of the first quarter of the Sky View game. Very frustrating.

I'm pretty sure that an uncovered ball in the end zone on a kick off is a dead ball as long as no one touches it before it goes in the end zone.

Anyone know how accurate the two-deep chart from deseret news is? Was it released by USU? I was surprised that Devante Mays was listed at #2. It sounded like, especially with him being banged up during fall camp, that he was a ways down the list.

There was a quote from Wells in the Herald Journal today that says that today will be be the scrimmage where the 1st team will get a lot of reps and then they'll taper it down to mostly 2nd and 3rd string reps for the remaining scrimmages.

It looks like there's another building down on the parking lot level, behind the press box. I suppose it could just be the apartment bldg across the street, but why would they bother to include that?
